Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Saturday 11th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

This is a competitive Maiden Plate for the girls and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is WINDS OF GRACE from the Michael Azzie stable. She is better than her last start as she was reported to be fatigued. The daughter of Act Of War finished second in both her efforts over this C&D. She jumps from pole position and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

DUCHESS OF PALOMA stayed on when third over 1200m at the Vaal last time. The daughter of Royal Mo should strip much fitter and with luck from her awkward draw of eight, she should pose a threat.

STONE OF SCONE should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung outwards in the final 350m. She should enjoy the rise to 1450m and if keeping on a straight line, she should be competitive.

Race 2

WINCHESTER has shown good improvement in his last two starts. He set the pace over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time before getting outrun late by Winston’s Wonder. Calvin Habib retains the ride, and he can go one better.

ROYALE JACKET found one too good in the form of One Eye On Vegas last time. He finished 5.8 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

KORCULA showed good improvement when third over 1200m on this course last time. The daughter of Hawwaam is a progressive type and should love the rise to 1450m. From her good draw of three, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 3

GREEN MACHINE ran a fair race on debut over 1450m on this course. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1800m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to side with.

TEXAS MISSILE finished 1.8 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of One World would have come on from the run and should make the natural progression over the extra distance on offer.

NOTHING COMPARES was running on when second over 1600m at the Vaal last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the rise to 1800m. She carries a light mass and would not be a shock winner.

Race 4

IT‘S PERSONAL is the best bet on the programme. He produced a strong finish when second over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The cheekpieces have done the trick and he is the stable elect with Muzi Yeni in the saddle. From his good draw of four, he can notch up his third-career victory.

HEMISPHERE finished 1.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and should be involved at the finish.

SUPER AWESOME won a good race over 1450m on this course last time. He has won twice over this distance previously. The son of Capetown Noir is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 5

MATCHA MINT won her maiden with ease over this C&D. She raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and won with a ton in hand. It must be noted that the horses that finished second and third that day have come out and won since. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

DYLAN‘S CHAMP was outrun late over this distance at the Vaal last time. He jumps from pole position and is one of the leading contenders.

JOHNNY DRAMA stayed on when fourth over this distance on the Standside course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He finished second in his only attempt on this course. The son of What A Winter will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 6

COCOMELON was her own worst enemy in the early stages of her last start as she over raced. However, the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Willow Magic would have come on from the run and will love the rise to 2200m. If Craig Zackey is able to switch her off early, she may be the one to beat.

SOLDIER‘S EYE rallied late when second over 1800m on this course last time. Three of her four career victories have come on this course. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

TEO TORRIATTE ran a good race when second over 2600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She raced from a handy position but found one too good in the form of Mo Ment. The daughter of The United States cannot be ignored.

Race 7

KING HARALD finished 0.2 lengths behind CHRONICLE KING last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Erik The Red got the better of CHRONICLE KING in his penultimate run as well. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should go close.

CHRONICLE KING was not disgraced when third in the Grade 1 World Pool Moment Of The Day Premiers Champion Stakes last time. The horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix merits healthy respect.

ALTA CAPITANA is better than her last start in the Grade 1 Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes as she was reported to have choked up. The 11-week break would have done her the world of good. She carries a handy galloping mass of 52.5kgs and should give a good account of herself.

Race 8

SILVER TUDOR stayed on when third over 1000m on this course last time. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this C&D. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw of seven and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

COSMIC STAR is better than his last start in the Listed Betway Spring Spree Stakes. He finished 1.45 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

PENNSYLVANIA is in good form heading into this contest. He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this distance. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

Race 9

BEAMONESQUE‘S last two starts have been decent. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and jumps from a good draw of three. Despite his big mass of 63kgs, he can return to winning ways.

PHALA MILLIONS showed speed over 1100m at the Vaal last time before getting outrun late by Daring Act. Three of his four career victories have come over this distance. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

PRINCESS LOLA finished 2.25 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result
