Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Thursday 12th March where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

LOLLY WILLOWES has shown improvement in her last two starts. The manner in which she finished off both those races suggests that she will love the rise to 1450m. If getting away on terms from her good draw of four, she can shed her maiden tag.

GIMMESUMLUV has fair form lines to her name. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She is one of the leading contenders.

KEEP WARM ran a fair race when third in her stable debut over 1600m on this course. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She is a filly with scope and can finish in the placings.

Race 2

DOESYOURMOTHERKNOW ran a fair race on debut over 1000m on the Standside course. It must be noted that the second and third horses from that outing have come out and won since. She would have come on from the run and with experience on her side, she may be the one to beat.

WITHIN REACH is an unraced daughter of Malmoos from the Sean Tarry stable with Keagan de Melo in the saddle. Her mother, Jetorio won first time out over a mile. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her and the other first timers.

MOANA is a daughter of New Predator from the Robyn Klaasen stable with Calvin Habib in the irons. She is related to five-time winner Philispiel. If not too green in running, she should give a good account of herself.

Race 3

COVER CHARGE produced an encouraging debut effort over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. He took time to find his feet but stayed on at the finish. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

GREAT RIFT VALLEY is an unraced son of Malmoos from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable with Keagan de Melo in the irons. His mother, Chitengo was a seven-time winner from 1600m to 2400m. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

PARACHUTE ADAMS finished 0.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there should not be much separating them at the finish. He gets the blinkers fitted which should sharpen him up.

Race 4

PORRIDGE BOY ran a fair race in his comeback run over 1400m on the Standside course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He will strip a much fitter horse and with luck in running, he can shed his maiden tag.

ONE OF THOSE DAYS has shown improvement in every run to date. He would have strengthened up during his time off the track and if not in need of this outing, he should pose a threat.

SHOREYBOMBA did not go on with the effort last time. It must be noted that Errol Flynn has come out and won again since. He finished 0.25 lengths behind the second choice in his penultimate run. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 5

WAYNE ran a good race when second over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. He raced from a handy position but found one too good in the form of Birthright. The tongue-tie seems to have done the trick. He has class about him and may be the one to beat.

FIRE STORM followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over this C&D. He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time. If Craig Zackey is able to switch him off early, he should go close.

IDEAL SUMMER returns from a lengthy 37-week break, during which time he was gelded. He is the stable elect with Calvin Habib in the saddle. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself.

Race 6

SILVER FLARE finished 0.25 lengths behind MOUNT ETNA last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. From her good draw of two, she can go one better.

MOUNT ETNA won a good race over 2000m last time, despite the saddle slipping in running. She meets a similar line-up this afternoon and merits healthy respect.

FALCONFLY finished 4 lengths behind the second selection in the race referred to above. She is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

Race 7

PERFECT MIRACLE challenged strongly over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time, before getting outrun late. The daughter of Hawwaam won her only attempt over this C&D. Calvin Habib steps back into the saddle and she is a massive runner.

BRIGHT AND BRAZEN was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She received a six-pound penalty for that victory. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

ROAMING SPIRIT has fair consistent form lines to her name. She takes a slight drop in class and should earn another cheque for her patrons.

Race 8

HIS LORDSHIP won a good race over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of What A Winter meets a similar line-up and he can follow up with another victory.

ROCKAROUNDTHECLOCK ran a fair race over 1160m on the Standside course last time. He was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish. If getting away on terms, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

HEMISPHERE is better than his last start suggests. He returns from a 15-week break which would have done him the world of good. He is the stable elect with Keagan de Melo in the saddle and on previous form, he should fight out the finish.

Race 9

TINTIN followed up his maiden win with an impressive victory over 1400m on the Standside course. He showed a good turn of foot and drew clear of the opposition. The son of Rafeef takes another rise in class but he carries a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs, and can bring up the hat-trick.

BRISTOL HERCULES has finished second in his last two starts. He found one too good in the form of King Harald last time. He jumps from pole position and merits healthy respect.

MAX THE MAGICIAN has consistent form lines to his name. He has won twice and finished second once from seven starts over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of him.

Race 10

KOTINOS‘ last two starts have been good. He finished off his race well when third over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from six starts over this C&D. He drops back in class and with a bit of luck in running, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.

BAY EMPIRE stayed on when third over this C&D last time. He does have a wide draw to overcome but Chase Maujean knows him well and should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

PRINCESS LOLA was running on when fifth over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. She is drawn wide once again, but is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners
