Winning Form selections for racing from the Vaal on Thursday 11th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

Five of the seven runners in this contest are unraced and the betting market will be the best guide. PIVOTAL ROLE is a son of Hawwaam from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. He is related to multiple Grade 1 winner Princess Calla. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note.

LEGAL FLAME is a son of Legislate from the Tony Peter yard with Calvin Habib doing duty. He is related to four-time winner Red Roses Too. If not too green in running, he should give a good account of himself.

HAMMER BLOW hails from the Roy Magner stable and he is a son of What A Winter. He is related to two-time winner Women Of Fame. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and if not too green, he should produce a positive showing.

Race 2

QUEENSLAND was a tad disappointing in her last start. It must be noted that Rifle Queen has come out and won again since. Her debut effort when second over 1160m at Turffontein was encouraging. The daughter of Querari has plenty of scope and with Muzi Yeni back in the saddle, she may be the horse to side with.

EMPRESS WU ran a fair race over 1200m last time. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MISS MUNROE has had excuses in her last two starts. She finished third in her only attempt over this C&D. Calvin Habib retains the ride, and she would not be a shock winner.

Race 3

WINSTON‘S WONDER made the expected natural improvement when second over 1200m on this course last time. He lost a length leaving the start and finished off his race strongly. The son of Danon Platina will love the extra distance on offer and he can go one better under Kabelo Matsunyane.

ROYALE JACKET raced from a handy position over 1400m last time before getting outrun late by Big Joe. The son of Ideal World jumps from pole position and may be the horse to fill the exacta spot.

STORM BURST showed good improvement when third over 1200m last time. He cast a shoe in running that day. Apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia takes the 4kgs off his back and he may have more to come.

Race 4

FIRE IN HER SOUL was a beaten favourite over 1200m on this course last time. Her penultimate outing when second on the Turffontein Inside course was encouraging. She gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and she may be the horse to beat.

TIPPERARY set the pace over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Act Of Grace. She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber may be hard to peg back.

VAMANOS ran a fair race after returning from a 20-week break. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. She is a progressive type and must be considered.

Race 5

PEREGRINE FALCON raced from a handy position over 1400m last time but found one too good in the form of Paul Revere. He finished third in his penultimate outing over this C&D. He is having his peak run today and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle, he should be the horse to beat.

SPY STORY was running on too late when second over this distance last time. He is in a good space and can go one better.

MARIACHI MADNESS stayed on at the finish when fourth over 1160m at Turffontein last time. He jumps from pole position and should run an honest race.

Race 6

PRETTY ANALIA ran a good race when third over 1800m last time. She was slow into stride and finished off her race strongly. Two of her three career victories have come over this distance. Serino Moodley retains the ride, and she should go close.

LITTLEMISSSPLENDID raced from a handy position over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Littlemissmillion. The booking of Gavin Lerena is a big plus and she should pose a threat.

FAIR PROPOSAL ran a good race in her first run for the Roy Magner stable. She should have finished closer to the winner as she had to be checked at the 300m mark. She should enjoy the rise to 1600m and with luck in running, she should be competitive.

Race 7

ACROSS THE POND was in need of her comeback run over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Bezrin won her only attempt over this C&D. She drops in class and with Serino Moodley in the saddle, she would not be a shock winner.

ISSHOTEN was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She set the pace, found another kick and drew clear. The daughter of Erupt is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

ACCEPT COOKIES finished 2.9 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 8

TRIDENT KING has finished fourth in his last three starts. He may not have seen out the 2000m last time. The 7yo gelding has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts on this course. In this type of field, he can return to winning ways.

GUERILLA WARFARE set the pace over this C&D last time before getting caught. The son of New Predator takes a drop in class and is one of the leading contenders.

GREENLIGHT RACER won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over 1500m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position and found extra where it matters most. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand
