Winning Form selections for racing from the Vaal on Thursday 25th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

RACEWAY should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung between the 600m mark and 200m mark. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She is having her peak run and in this field, she can shed her maiden tag.

CODEWORD has shown good improvement in her last two starts under 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia. The drop in trip is an obvious concern, but she should be one of the leading contenders in this line-up.

PHUTHI is better than her last start as she was reported to be not striding out. She is carded to race on 18 September 2025 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 2

UNDERDOG showed massive improvement in his last start over this C&D. Apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia takes the 3kgs off his back which will assist his cause. If confirming his recent improvement, he may be the one to beat.

UBERMENSCH was in need of his last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. He will strip much fitter and can show improvement in this line-up.

STORM BURST finished 0.2 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate run. He is 5.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.

Race 3

SWORD OF LIGHT produced a promising debut effort over 1450m on the Classic course. She lost a length leaving the start but stayed on at the finish. She would have gained from the experience and should love the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

UNIVERSAL GIRL was in need of her debut effort over 1200m. She would have come on from the outing and should improve over this distance.

MADAME POMPADOUR is better than her last start over 1800m. She finished second in her penultimate outing over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo keeps faith in the ride which is encouraging.

Race 4

BELLEROPHON ran a good race on debut over 1400m on this course. He was green in running and stayed on at the finish. He found betting support that day which suggests that he was showing good work at home. He will love the extra 200m on offer and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

AMAZON QUEEN made the expected natural improvement when third over 1800m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and should give the males a run for their money.

SEVENTH FLEET should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was eased late. If confirming his recent improvement, he can finish in the placings.

Race 5

DYLAN‘S CHAMP was running on too late when second over 1450m on the Classic course last time. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia which will assist his cause. If repeating his last outing, he can notch up his second-career victory.

SPY STORY‘S last two starts have been decent. He has won over this distance previously and is one of the leading contenders.

GAMER challenged strongly last time, but found one too good in the form of Coppola. He is a solid back-up for the St John Gray stable.

Race 6

ROSY LEMON is better than her last start over 2400m as she was reported to have choked up. She has won over this distance previously. She runs well for Jockey Serino Moodley and can notch up her sixth- career victory.

LAVA LAMP followed up her maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 2400m on the Classic course. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Savanna Valjalo which will assist her cause. She is in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick.

VOLTE FACE stayed on when second over this C&D last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 7

PALACE PRINCE was an impressive winner of his last start over this C&D. He quickened up well at the 150m mark that day and won easier than the official margin suggests. He received an eight-pound penalty for that victory. He has class about him and can follow up with another victory.

BEAMONESQUE finished 4.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

XENOPHON was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the Classic course. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He takes on stronger, but has scope and should be up to the task at hand.

Race 8

TIME FOR CHARITY has good consistent form lines to her name. She took the lead at the 250m mark last time before getting caught late by Misty Metal. Serino Moodley retains the ride, and she should be involved at the finish.

PRINCESS LOLA finished 4.8 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. Muzi Yeni may be able to get the best out of her.

IN THE ETHER rallied late when winning her last start over 1000m on this course. 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia retains the ride, and the pair merit healthy respect
