Race 1

LILAC SNOW showed speed over this distance on the Classic course last time before getting caught late by Universal Girl. The daughter of What A Winter is in a good space and with Samuel Mosia retaining the ride, she can go one better.

EMERALD FORGE received a bump leaving the start over 1000m last time and never got into the race. Her three efforts before the 24-week break were good. She would have come on from her comeback outing and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is one of the leading contenders.

VARACHINO‘S CHAMP finished third behind the highly-rated Manyeleti over 1000m on debut. The daughter of Soqrat steps up to 1200m and she should make the natural improvement. She is carded to race on 23 November 2025 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 2

KAVOMOLKA has shown improvement in each of his races to date. He set the pace over 1800m on the Turffontein Inside course last time and stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Skitt Skizzle is drawn in pole position and he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

THOONSIL was his own worst enemy last time as he over raced. The drop to 1700m may be ideal for him and he gets the services of S’manga Khumalo. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

NARETOI ran a fair race when third over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He has cracked a good draw of two and can finish in the placings.

Race 3

BLOOD OF EDEN set the pace over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, before getting outrun late by Drumnadrochit. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the daughter of Heavenly Blue. S’manga Khumalo is likely to adopt the same tactics from the wide draw and she may be hard to peg back.

MATTER OF TRUST has improved in her last two starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. The daughter of Soqrat is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. She has scope and should pose a massive threat.

FLYING WORLD lacked extra late in her second run after a rest last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. The booking of Callan Murray is a big plus.

Race 4

FRANCILIEN has good consistent form lines to her credit. She has finished second in her last three starts, the latest of which was over 1200m on this course. The daughter of What A Winter can notch up her third-career victory.

SONIC JET is better than her last start in the Listed Betway National Colour Stakes. She has won twice and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Savanna Valjalo which should assist her cause. She will strip much fitter and may be hard to peg back.

ARASHI stayed on at the finish when third over 1200m last time. It must be noted that Rachel Wall has come out and won again since. She will be at peak fitness and cannot be discounted.

Race 5

GRACE‘S KISS was given a peach of a ride when winning on debut over this distance at Turffontein. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. The daughter of Erik The Red takes on stronger, but she could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

FIRE IN HER SOUL followed up her maiden win with a good third-place finish over this C&D. She is the stable elect with Craig Zackey retaining the ride. The daughter of William Longsword is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RINGA RINGA ROSES has shown good improvement in each of her races to date. She won a game race over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Louis The King takes on stronger, but she should give a good account of herself.

Race 6

PALACE PRINCE was not disgraced when fifth in the Grade 3 Betway Graham Beck Stakes last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from five starts on this course. He gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto which will assist his cause. The son of Potala Palace has ability and can notch up his fourth-career victory.

BIG UNIT finished 1.85 lengths behind AFTER HOURS last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

AFTER HOURS was running on when third over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He won his penultimate outing under Malesela Katjedi. The 8yo gelding merits obvious consideration.

Race 7

MANYELETI is the best bet on the programme. She was super-impressive when winning on debut over this C&D. The daughter of Danon Platina showed good speed and was geared down in the closing stages. She would have gained from the experience. She does take on stronger opposition, but carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and she looks to have class about her. Craig Zackey retains the ride and she can remain unbeaten.

ALPINE JET is better than her last start in the Listed Betway National Colour Stakes as she was reported to be coughing. Her penultimate run when victorious over this C&D catches the eye. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GLASTONBURY is better than her last start in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this distance. She returns from a 26-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the run, she should have a say.

15% bonus on all deposits up to R30,000, 24th to 29th November at Hollywoodbets. T&C's apply

Race 8

VANAKKAM followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this C&D. She showed good pace and tried hard all the way to the line. The daughter of Vercingetorix is back against her own sex and has a good winning chance.

MISTY METAL raced from a prominent position over 1200m last time, but found one too good in the form of She’s All Mine. The daughter of Danon Platina is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

VAMANOS was an easy winner when shedding her maiden tag over 1200m on this course last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

Race 9

ICE DRAGON‘S last start is best ignored as he was reported to be not striding out. The son of Lance caught the eye when winning on debut over 1200m on this course. He gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto which will assist his cause. He looks to have ability and has scope. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

HIS LORDSHIP stayed on when third over 1160m at Turffontein last time. The son of What A Winter is in a good space and should be involved at the finish.

ONE TIGER found one too good in the form of Trajanus last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Calvin Habib retains the ride and he should have a say in the outcome of this contest
