Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Tuesday 2nd December where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Note, due to rain the meeting has been moved from the Vaal to Turffontein (inside track), check for scratchings

Race 1

PLUMBAGO PARK has shown good improvement since joining the Brett Webber stable. She showed speed over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Russian Nobility. The daughter of Rafeef gets the services of capable work rider Tom Lukhele. In this field, she should go one better.

TAKING A RISK found one too good in the form of Old Fashioned over this C&D last time. She is back against her own sex and with Samuel Mosia booked to ride, she should pose a massive threat.

RACEWAY has been disappointing in her last two starts. On best form shown, she would not be a shock winner.

Race 2

TEMPRANILLO has produced two good runs to date. She showed speed over 1160m at Turffontein last time before getting outrun late. The well-bred daughter of Querari is a progressive type and Gavin Lerena retains the ride. The drop to 1000m will be ideal and she can shed her maiden tag.

SEED SEEKER was touched off by subsequent winner Speedman last time. He was reported to be fatigued that day. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

POWER OF TIGER showed some improvement in her last start over this C&D. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and should be cherry-ripe. She may have more to come and can finish in the placings.

Race 3

FRANGIPANI took the lead at the 400m mark last time but was touched off by Hazy Dazy who has come out and won again since. The daughter of Master Of My Fate steps up to 1800m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

BLOOD OF EDEN set the pace over 1600m last time before getting outrun late by Drumnadrochit. She finished 1.25 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate outing. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

CHICKASAW is having her first run for the Fanie Bronkhorst stable. She was disappointing in her last start over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. The manner in which she finished off her previous two efforts suggests that she will enjoy the rise to 1800m. If settled into her new surroundings, she can show good improvement in this field.

Race 4

This is a competitive Merit Rated 86 Handicap and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is KUDZU from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable. His recent form against stronger opposition has been fair. He takes a drop in class and with a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to beat in this field.

MOUNT DARWIN finished 1.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

AMERICAN REBEL is better than his last start in the Listed Allied Steelrode Java Stakes. His previous form over 2000m was consistent. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back and with luck from the widest draw, he should be competitive.

Race 5

ARLINGTON ACTION‘S last three starts have been good. He raced from a handy position over 2400m on this course last time before getting outrun late. Two of his seven career victories have come over this distance. Philasande Mxoli knows him well and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

BANHA BRIDGE finished 1.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

PEACE TREATY has run on from last in his last two outings to finish second. The son of Act Of War is at a competitive rating and he merits healthy respect.

Race 6

PHALA MILLIONS showed speed over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Peregrine Falcon. He finished 1.1 lengths behind CAPTAIN EFFICIENT in his penultimate outing. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. The son of Linngari may be hard to peg back.

CAPTAIN EFFICIENT stayed on when second over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle and he is one of the leading contenders.

TIGER STORM showed signs of a form return when fourth over 1000m on this course last time. The son of Rafeef has dropped in the ratings and if confirming his recent improvement, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 7

ANTONIO GAUDI showed pace over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Secret Chord. He finished 0.3 lengths behind MISTER WILSON in his penultimate outing. He is in a good space and can notch up his second-career victory.

MISTER WILSON fought hard for his last victory over this distance on the Classic course. Apprentice Savanna Valjalo takes the 4kgs off his back which should assist his cause. He has scope and merits obvious consideration.

ONE TIGER found one too good in the form of Trajanus last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The son of One World must be considered.

Race 8

GERBERA was a tad disappointing in the Listed Betway Summer Pudding Handicap last time. Her penultimate run when fourth over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course catches the eye. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and on best form shown, she can return to winning ways.

MASTERSHIP ran a fair race over 1800m at Turffontein last time. He won his penultimate outing over 1600m on this course. The son of Master Of My Fate is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

ARGO ALLEY won a game race over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. Three of his nine career victories have come on this course and if fit, he should produce another honest run.

Race 9

GUERILLA WARFARE has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He raced from a handy position over 1400m on this course last time and stayed on to finish fourth. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto retains the ride, and he can return to winning ways.

VAVA VEGAS‘ last three starts have been good. He finished 1.25 lengths behind OKLAHOMA TWISTER in his penultimate outing. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

OKLAHOMA TWISTER was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. He received a seven-pound penalty for that victory. Jeffrey Syster knows him well and the combination merit healthy respect
