Winning Form selections for racing from the Vaal on Tuesday 4th November where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

SLENDER SILHOUETTE was a beaten odds-on favourite over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She was reported to be distressed that day. It must be noted that the horse that finished second has come out and won since. The drop to 1000m may suit her well and she may be the one to side with.

OLD FASHIONED raced from a prominent position over this distance on the Classic course last time, but found one too good in the form of Pivotal Role. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

PRINCESS OF ALL was disappointing in her last start over this distance on the Classic course. If finding the form of her debut run, she should be involved at the finish.

Race 2

MASTER’S LADY hails from the in-form Roy Magner stable. She fought hard over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Far Beyond. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

EMERALD FORGE tried hard when second over 1160m at Turffontein last time. She returns from a 24-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the outing, she should be involved at the finish.

DONDOYAKI is better than her last start over 1200m. She has finished second once and third twice from four starts over this distance. If finding the form of her penultimate outing, she should be competitive.

Race 3

WAYNE is the best bet on the programme. He produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on this course. He understandably raced green, but the manner in which he stayed on to finish third was encouraging. It must be noted that Miami Mountain and the second placed finisher have come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix will love the rise to 1400m and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

AMANDLA NGAWETHU set the pace over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Never Never Land. The son of Rafeef may be hard to peg back.

ARIZONA MAGIC stayed on when third over 1600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He is drawn on the outside of the course and should finish in the placings.

Race 4

SKY PILLAR ROCK challenged strongly over 2000m on the Classic course last time, but found one too good in the form of Eiger Sanction. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride which is a big plus. He tries the 2400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can go one better.

ARLINGTON ACTION was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the Classic course. He raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and drew clear of the opposition. The 7-year-old gelding merits healthy respect.

BANHA BRIDGE ran a fair race in KwaZulu-Natal last time. It must be noted that Kanaal Skater has come out and won again since. He should earn another cheque for his patrons with Muzi Yeni in the saddle.

Race 5

This is a competitive Merit Rated 66 Handicap and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is LONELY AS A CLOUD from the Candice Dawson stable. He had excuses against stronger company over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. Both his career victories have come over this trip. He takes a drop in class and on best form shown, he may be the one to beat.

TIGER STORM finished 1.5 lengths behind IN THE ETHER last time. He is 7kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He drops in class and would not be a shock winner.

IN THE ETHER was doing her best work late when fourth over this distance on the Classic course last time. Six of her eight career victories have come over this distance. If jumping on terms, she should be involved at the finish.

Race 6

ICE DRAGON caught the eye when winning on debut over this C&D. He showed good speed, found another kick and drew clear in the closing stages. The son of Lance takes on stronger, but he could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

DRIVELIKEAMASTER was not disgraced when fourth over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. The son of Master Of My Fate has scope and should pose a massive threat.

FULLY LOADED has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He was running on when second over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He is carded to race on 30 October 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 7

ZANTHAR ran a decent race in a competitive field over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He was reported to be coughing that day. The son of New Predator finished third in his only attempt on this course. He will strip much fitter and with the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia, he can notch up his second-career victory.

OPEN HIGHWAY lacked extra late over 1400m last time. His three starts prior to that outing were good. If given a chance in this field, he should be mowing down the frontrunners.

DECEPTION PASS challenged strongly over 1450m last time, but found one too good in the form of Palace Prince. He finished 0.8 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 8

MAJALUN stayed on at the finish when second over 2000m on the Classic course last time. It may pay to follow the form of Chabal who took his place in Race 4 on this meeting. Muzi Yeni is likely to race this gelding on the speed and he may be hard to peg back.

SUNSHINE DAY finished 1.4 lengths behind GAMER last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

GAMER ran on powerfully when winning his last start over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect
