Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Saturday 26th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

LANDMAN finished well after flyjumping at the start last time, ending up in second place over 1600M, 1.75L behind the winner. He faces a wide draw twelve, but will have Gavin Lerena in the saddle to aid his cause.

SUKHOI raced green, but stayed on well to finish fourth on debut over 1250M, 1.4L back from the winner. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he could be the biggest danger to the top pick.

STEALTH MASTER was slow away when finishing sixth on debut over 1200M. He returns from a 25-week break, during which time he would have strength- ened up.

Race 2

BART NEL has only had two runs to date, finishing seventh on debut over 1250m after losing two lengths at the start and then showing the expected improvement to end up in third place next time out over 1000m, two lengths behind the winner, this after having to be steadied at the 300m mark. The colt will have to negotiate a wide draw thirteen, but he should be doing his best work late.

LEGAL DANCER is another who has had just two runs and improved to finish second last time out over this C&D, two lengths back from the winner. He is drawn slightly better in gate nine and he should keep the top choice honest.

OCTOBER RUSH raced green when finishing eighth on debut over 1200m, 9.6L adrift of the winner, but he would no doubt have come on with that run and from his gate six, he should not be easily overlooked.

Race 3

FIRST BLOOM flyjumped and did struggle to take the turn when finishing second first time out over 1250m, two lengths off the winner. She now has had the experience of racing at the country course and with improvement, she looks to be the one to side with here.

WHAT THE FLUFF showed plenty of toe and was only snared late when finishing third in her latest outing over the C&D, beaten 0.55L. She jumps from gate four and could prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages.

ROCK THE ROAD has given away start in her first three outings but battled all the way down to the wire when finishing fifth in her latest run over 1200m, 4.4L back from the winner. If jumping on terms here, she could break her maiden at the fourth time of asking.

Race 4

LYRICAL GANGSTER goes for a hat-trick after victories over this C&D and the latest over 1200M by a half-length. He will have to deal with a wideish gate seven, but the trio is very much on the cards.

KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD is a four year old filly taking on males. She had solid form prior to being a bit disappointing when finishing fourth in her latest outing over 1800M, 4.75L adrift of the victor and was immediately rested for 30 weeks. She returns here and drops in trip, but if back to her best, she should be a big runner.

UN BEL DI followed up his penultimate run victory over 1200M with a fourth- place finish next time out over 1000M, 2,1L back from the winner. He showed plenty of gate speed that day and should not be troubled stepping out over 1250M.

Race 5

PRAIRIE DAWN has consistent form lines to his name and followed up his penultimate run victory over 1600m with a third place finish next time out over 1950m, 0.55L back from the winner. He ran on strongly from some way back that day and whilst returning from an 18 week rest, the engagement of Keagan de Melo is encouraging.

MIAMI SUMMER goes for a hat-trick after wins over 1400M and 1600M. He is drawn in gate two and should relish the extra distance on offer.

SOHO HEARTTHROB won by 0.4L last time out over a mile and was put away for 11 weeks. He returns here, jumping from a useful gate four and gets the services of champion jockey Craig Zackey.

Race 6

The day’s best bet, DOUBLE GRAND SLAM has her first run after a twelve week rest. She is a multiple Grade 1 winner who has posted one win and two second place finishes over this C&D. The mare is very well-weighted here and looks likely to add to her already impressive record.

KEUKENHOF returns to her home city after a reasonably successful campaign and looks the biggest danger.

STORMWATCH returns from a longer 21 week absence. She won a Listed race in good fashion last time. She jumps from gate six and gets the services of Gavin Lerena.

Race 7

JET FORCE has won four of his last seven starts and is two for two over this C&D. With regular rider Grant van Niekerk in the irons, he looks the one that they all have to beat.

CHASINGTHERAINBOW compl- eted his hat-trick when winning his last start over a mile. He returns from a 14 week rest and could emerge as the biggest threat to the top pick.

LEGAL COUNSEL finished fifth behind his stablemate in a Grade 1 last time. He has pulled gate five and will be looking to chalk up his second win from as many starts over this C&D.

RACE 8

GIRL LIKE US has consistent form lines to her credit, finishing third last time out over today’s C&D, 1.7L behind the winner. She returns from a 13 week break and whilst drawn wideish in gate eight, she could add to her two wins over this C&D.

WYZE DECLARATION finished third over this C&D last time, a length back from the winner. She is drawn one inside the top choice and she will be looking to secure her third career victory from just nine starts.

STAR WORLD was rewarded for consistency last time out over this C&D. She ran on strongly that day and from gate six, she should be doing her best work late.

RACE 9

AXIS POWER is seldom far off the action, finishing second last time out over this C&D, just 0.4L back from the winner. He is drawn wide in gate eight, but he is a speedy sort who should be able to work his way across without using up too much effort.

BARNEY MCGREW was rewarded for consistency in his last start. He chased hard all the way down to the line that day, getting up in the shadow of the post. The gelding gets a useful gate four and the services of Craig Zackey.

PEACE OF MIND beat the former two runs back over 1000M and is 1kg worse off at the weights. Either way, there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line
