Winning Form selections for Fairview on Monday 10th August where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

MASTEROFTHEBAROQUE was doing his best work late when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Master Of My Fate will love the rise to 1900m. He is having his peak run and with Andrew Fortune in the saddle, he can shed his maiden tag.

WINDOW TO MY SOUL returns from a 28-week break and is having his first outing for Trainer Dean Smith. The son of One World finished second in his only attempt over this distance. If not in need of the run, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

MONKEY‘S WEDDING finished 1 length behind LUCA DA WHEELS last time. He is 8kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. He is likely to race on the pace and may be hard to peg back.

RACE 2

JEWEL MULE was carded to race last week Friday, but was scratched due to elevated TCO2 levels. The daughter of One World was a tad disappointing over 1200m last time. The manner in which she finished off her debut effort over 1000m suggests that she will be suited to 1400m. If not too green around the turn, she may be the one to beat.

REDLIGHT LANE found one too good in the form of Half Moon Island over this distance on the polytrack last time. She is back against her own sex and with luck in running, she should pose a massive threat.

HARPA returns from an 11-week break and is having her first outing for Trainer Kelly Mitchley. She has finished third twice from three starts over this distance. She should get a good run in transit from Barrier Two and cannot be discounted.

 RACE 3

FREQUENT TRAVELLER is having his first outing in the Eastern Cape for Trainer Kelly Mitchley. He stayed on when fourth over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He was not beaten far in his penultimate run over this distance. Muzi Yeni rides and if settled into his new surroundings, he may be the one to beat.

SECRET ERUPTION has improved in his last two starts over this distance on the polytrack. The son of Erupt is coming along the right way and is one of the leading contenders.

LADY LIMONCELLO stayed on when third over 1400m on the polytrack last time. She finished second in her penultimate outing over this distance. She returns from a 14-week break and if not in need of the run, she should have a say.

RACE 4

HOME REEF was not disgraced when third in the Port Elizabeth Gold Cup last time. The drop back to 2000m is not a concern as he has won twice and finished third once from five starts over this trip. The son of Erupt is in a good space and can notch up his sixth-career victory.

GLOBAL ALLY was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1800m on the polytrack. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Bongani Makhubo which will assist his cause. He will be doing his best work late and should be competitive.

MAKHACHEV finished 0.05 lengths behind WILD FIG last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.

RACE 5

KING VISERYS stayed on when sixth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. He finished 1.6 lengths behind GREEN PLANET in his penultimate run. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. The 6yo gelding finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. Despite carrying top weight, he can return to winning ways.

GREEN PLANET set the pace and held on where it matters most to win over 1600m on the polytrack last time. He should get a good run in transit from Barrier Two and merits healthy respect.

CHEERFUL CHARLIE B was slow into stride over 1600m on the polytrack last time, but stayed on at the finish. The son of Lancaster Bomber will love the return to the turf.

RACE 6

DAFFODIL DELIGHT is much better than her last two starts in feature races. She was reported to have a mouth injury on both occasions. The daughter of What A Winter has won once and finished third once from five starts on this course. She is back in Handicap Company and on best form shown, she may be the one to beat.

ICY LANCASTER stayed on when fifth over 1000m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. Apprentice Bongani Makhubo takes the 4kgs off her back and she is one of the leading contenders.

BASINGSTOKE has fair recent form to her name. The daughter of Admiral Kitten has dropped to a competitive rating and she can finish in the placings.

RACE 7

OVERTURE is the top bet on the programme. He caught the eye when fifth over this distance on the polytrack last time. He lost two lengths leaving the start, but finished off his race strongly. He was reported to be coughing that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. The son of Oratorio will love the return to the turf and if jumping on terms, he can return to winning ways.

STARS IN HEAVEN has been taking on stronger since arriving in the Eastern Cape. He will enjoy racing on the turf track and drops in class. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

STOKESY won a good race over 1400m on the polytrack last time. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The drop to 1200m is a slight concern, but he is in a good space and cannot be ignored.

RACE 8

CAPE CAPRI ran a good race when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. She raced on the pace and stayed on at the business end. She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this C&D. The daughter of Pomodoro runs well for Malesela Katjedi and she may be hard to peg back.

CAPTAIN CLEVER ran a good race when third over 1300m on the polytrack last time. He drops to 1000m for the first time and if suited, he should be involved at the finish.

BUMPS LAST GRIND stayed on when fourth over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. He is having his first run for Trainer Juan Nel and drops in class. Chad Little rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
