Winning Form selections for Fairview on Wednesday 9th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
RACE 1
MADRA RUA is having his first outing in the Eastern Cape for Trainer Dean Smith. The son of Frankel should be ideally suited to this distance. He gets the cheekpieces fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If taking to the polytrack, he can shed his maiden tag.
TWICE A QUEEN is an unraced daughter of Twice Over from the Alan Greeff yard with stable Jockey Richard Fourie booked to ride. If not in need of the experience, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
INDESTRUCTABLE raced wide around the turn last time, but finished off his race well. He returns from a 10-week break, during which time he would have freshened up. If fit, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
RACE 2
AMONG THE WILLOWS had excuses around the turn over 1200m on this course last time. The daughter of Buffalo Bill Cody steps up to 1300m and she will strip much fitter. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and in this line-up, she may be the one to beat.
ALLEYAH‘S ROCKET ran on when second over 1200m on this course last time. She steps up to 1300m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
QUEEN OF CASTILLE‘S last start is best ignored as the jockey was dislodged at the 1300m mark. Her penultimate effort when third over 1200m on this course was encouraging. Ashton Arries steps back into the saddle and despite carrying top weight, she cannot be discounted.
RACE 3
POTENZA produced a good comeback run when second over this C&D last time. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Callan Murray rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
AUGUSTA ROSSO ran a fair race over 1200m on this course last time. She will strip much fitter and should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
ALEX MILLER got up late when winning her last start over 1300m on this course. She finished 2.75 lengths behind ONCIDIUM, three runs ago. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. She will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.
RACE 4
INGQWELE stayed on when third in the first leg of the Non-Black Type Nelson Mandela Bay Racing Poly Challenge. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from five starts over this C&D. He drops back in class and can notch up his sixth-career victory.
TOO LATE MY MATE found one too good in the form of Above The Horizon last time. She takes on male company once again but may be rewarded for consistency.
TENJIKU took his chances in the Listed Memorial Mile last time. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. He is the highest rated runner in this contest and despite his big mass, he can finish in the placings.
RACE 5
NEW DAY is the top bet on the programme. She was an easy winner of her last start over 1400m on this course. She raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Canford Cliffs will love the rise to 1600m and from her good draw of two, she should take a power of beating.
BLUE PALACE ran a good race when third over this C&D, against male company last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. With luck in running, she should be competitive.
BOSNAY ran a fair race over this distance on the turf last time. She is the stable elect with Jason Gates in the saddle. On best form shown, she would not be a shock winner.
RACE 6
TORI‘S GIRL should have finished closer in her comeback run over 2000m on this course. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. She will strip much fitter and on previous form, she may be the one to beat.
NIGHT IN JAPAN followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 2000m on this course. She raced from a handy position, but found one too good in the form of Fantine. The daughter of Danon Platina is one of the leading contenders.
PRESERVE FOREVER finished 0.25 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
RACE 7
HONORINE‘S GIMMIE has good recent form to his name. He set the pace over this C&D last time before getting outrun late by Diablo. The son of Gimmethegreenlight meets the right field and he can go one better.
CLAIRWOOD ROSE finished 2.5 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. She has dropped to a competitive rating and should give the males a run for their money.
REAL WAR finished 0.05 lengths behind MIO DESTINO last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. Richard Fourie rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
RACE 8
MARKETA has faced slightly stronger company in her last two efforts. She finished fourth over 1300m on this course last time. The daughter of One World has won once and finished third three times from eight starts over this distance. With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she may be the one to cause the surprise.
BUMPS LAST GRIND returns from an 11-week break and is having his first outing for Juan Nel. He takes a drop in class and if suited to the polytrack, he should give a good account of himself.
GREENLIGHT DANCER stayed on when sixth over 1200m on this course last time. She was champion over this C&D in her penultimate outing. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners
