Winning Form selections for all of races from Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday 12th July where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
OMKHULU BOSS moved up well over this distance on the turf last time before getting outrun late by Quest Of Valor. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Malmoos tries the polytrack for the first time and if taking to the surface, he can go one better.
MOLTEN ROCK was touched off in her last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. She was a beaten odds-on favorite that day. The daughter of Erupt receives her sex allowance and if all went well with her travels, she should fight out the finish.
NAUTICAL FIRE produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on the turf. The son of Fire Away returns from a 16-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 2
OWNER OF CREATION is better than his last start on the turf. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Anaas Mosaheb takes the 4kgs off his back and with luck in running, he can shed his maiden tag.
THE SWAN SONG lost a length leaving the start on debut, but stayed on to finish second. The son of Trippi would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should go close.
DONMAGOO has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He has finished second once and third once from three starts over this C&D. With luck in running, he can earn another cheque for his patrons.
Race 3
AYZAL showed good improvement when fourth over 1200m on the turf last time. She lost a length leaving the start, but the manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the rise to the mile. The daughter of Legislate is a progressive type and with just 49kgs on her back, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
GOLDEN DIOGO stayed on when third over this C&D last time. The son of Gold Standard is coming along the right way and if getting away on terms, he should be competitive.
GREEN COMMANDER finished 0.25 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
Race 4
CARDINAL CHIEF finished 1.4 lengths behind POWERANDTHEGLORY last time. He is 7kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He was beaten a short-head under Serino Moodley, three runs ago. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
CITY OF LOVE has good consistent form to his credit. He raced from just off the pace over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and stayed on to finish third. He steps up to 1400m and must be strongly considered.
POWERANDTHEGLORY cost himself winning last time as he hung inwards in the final 250m. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. If keeping on a straight line, he should be competitive.
Race 5
LAST MARGARITA followed up her maiden win with a hard-fought victory over 1600m on this course. The daughter of Last Winter should be ideally suited to this distance. She takes another rise in class, but she is a filly with ability and can notch up the hat-trick.
LAST CAR TO PASS was running on when third over this C&D last time. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. If not too far out of her ground turning for home, she can fight out the finish.
LA LANDONNE finished 0.05 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 2kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
Race 6
BANGLADESH followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1200m on this course. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests that he will love the rise to 1400m. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody will strip much fitter and if not too far out of his ground, he can return to winning ways.
HOODIA finished 0.8 lengths behind BLUE STEEL last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
BLUE STEEL kept finding to win his last start over this C&D. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He is likely to get his own way in front once again and may be hard to peg back.
Race 7
POSITION OF POWER rallied late when second over this distance on the turf last time. The son of Vercingetorix is unbeaten from two starts on this course. He runs well for Keagan de Melo and back in Class 3, he should take a power of beating.
BLAZING FURY finished 0.95 lengths behind RAINBOW REWARD last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.
RAINBOW REWARD just held on when winning his last start over this distance on the turf. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Anaas Mosaheb knows him well and the combination merit healthy respect.
Race 8
SUMMER WINTER was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this C&D. She finished 1 length behind CHARA SANDS in her penultimate outing. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. Keagan de Melo retains the ride and the combination can follow up.
CHARA SANDS is a winner of his last two starts over this C&D. He received a five-pound penalty for his last victory. He is in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick.
BILLY COOL returns from a 34-week break and is having his first outing in KwaZulu-Natal. The booking of Craig Zackey is a big plus. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself.
Race 9
INNERBLOOM set the pace over this C&D last time and found more to keep all challengers at bay. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Captain Of All is in a good space and can follow up with another victory.
YOUR LADYSHIP has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She has finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. With a bit of luck in running, she can return to winning ways.
SAUDI SWEEP was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. She meets a similar line-up and merits obvious consideration.
