Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday 2nd June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
Four of the eight runners in this contest are first timers and the betting market will be the best guide. FINAL SAY is a daughter of Trippi from the Justin Snaith stable with Richard Fourie booked to ride. She is related to multiple winners including I Want It All and Happy Verse. If not in need of the experience, she should start her career on a positive note.
JACK A DANDY is a daughter of Flower Alley from the Dean Kannemeyer yard with Craig Zackey in the saddle. She is related to four-time winner Feather Boa. If not too green in running, she can produce a promising showing.
ODDS AND EVENS showed good improvement when fourth over this C&D last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. There may be more to come from her.
Race 2
EL COHETE is a filly taking on the males. She ran a fair race over 1200m on this course last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate has natural speed and should enjoy the drop to 1000m. She receives her sex allowance and may be hard to peg back.
MY BONNY BOY has had excuses in both his runs behind Rich Man’s World. He has been gelded which may have done the trick. The son of What A Winter has scope and can show good improvement.
RUST NEVER SLEEPS is an unraced son of One World from the Vaughan Marshall stable with Richard Fourie in the irons. He does not need to be a stable superstar to win this contest. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.
Race 3
RUBY REX cost herself winning last time as she hung outwards in the final 300m. The daughter of Captain Of All returns from a lengthy 34-week break. It is encouraging that Aldo Domeyer retains the ride and if fit, she may be the one to beat.
RED FLAG is an unraced daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Justin Snaith stable with Craig Zackey in the saddle. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
PITERAQ is better than her last start as she was reported to be coughing. She gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time. Richard Fourie retains the ride, and she cannot be discounted.
Race 4
WITCH HAZEL has finished third in his three career efforts to date. He returns from a 26-week break and is having his first outing for Lucinda Woodruff. The son of Hawwaam has scope and if not in need of the run, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
MADRA RUA returns from a 14-week break, during which time he was gelded. He should have finished closer to the winner over this C&D last time. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
FRACTAL produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D. He returns from a 30-week break, during which time he was gelded. Aldo Domeyer rides on his return, and the son of Erupt should make the natural improvement.
Race 5
NAVASNINE should have finished closer to the winner over 1000m last time as he hung inwards in the final 150m. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1400m. He is having his peak run and in this field, he should take a power of beating.
OH SO ONEDERFUL found one too good in the form of Caesar’s Ransom last time. He has finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this distance. Sean Veale may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
WATERFRONT returns from a 15-week break and is having his first outing for Piet and Elbert Steyn. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and if not in need of the run, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 6
PEACE GARLAND raced from just off the pace last time, but found one too good in the form of Fog In Finland. The daughter of Declarationofpeace is progressive and should love the rise to 1400m. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs and from her handy draw of four, she can shed her maiden tag.
CHINWAG finished 0.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights and may have to settle for the same result.
BEFORE SUNRISE ran a fair race over this distance last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Querari can earn another cheque for her patrons.
Race 7
ECHO FOXTROT showed massive improvement when third over 2000m last time. The blinkers seem to have done the trick. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and if confirming that effort, he can shed his maiden tag in this field.
AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ was her own worst enemy last time as she hung outwards throughout. She returns from a 10-week break which may have done her the world of good. She carries a handy galloping mass of 53kgs and if keeping on a straight line, she should pose a threat.
GLENALMOND ran a fair race over 1600m last time. He finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate outing. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
Race 8
HEAVENLY PRINCE had to be switched for running room at the 250m mark last time, but finished off his race strongly. He received a five-pound penalty for that win. The son of Heavenly Blue is in a good space and despite his big mass of 62.5kgs, he can follow up.
BEER WITH THE BOYS finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
TOTHEMOONANDBACK’S last two starts have been moderate. The 6yo gelding takes a drop in class and from pole position, he should find a form return.
Race 9
BLIND DATE stayed on when second over 1200m last time, but found one too good in the form of Cork Bay. The son of Futura would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Craig Zackey rides and he may be the one to side with.
CHANCE ENCOUNTER is better than his last start over 1800m. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He finished 0.3 lengths behind BONELLI in his penultimate outing. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
BONELLI followed up his maiden win with another victory over 1800m. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He is in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick
