Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday 9th June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
Four of the seven runners in this contest are first timers and the betting market will be the best guide. JEWEL MULE produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D. She lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but stayed on at the finish. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.
CRACK OF DAWN is an unraced daughter of Malmoos from the Andre Nel stable with Keagan de Melo in the saddle. She is related to multiple winners Ingqwele and Keukenhof. If not too green in running, she should start her career on a positive note.
LEONISTA is a daughter of New Predator from the Justin Snaith yard and Craig Zackey rides. If not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself.
Race 2
DISCO JET is an unraced son of Rafeef from the Justin Snaith stable with JP van der Merwe in the saddle. He is related to ten-time winner Var Aglow. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
ANOTHER HERO found one too good in the form of Aquae Calidae last time. He is a progressive type and with luck in running, he may be the first raced runner past the post.
SARATOGA SUNRISE was in need of his debut effort over 1200m. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can finish in the placings.
Race 3
MIAMI SUMMER followed up his maiden victory with a creditable fifth-place finish over 1800m. He returns from a 26-week break, during which time he was gelded. JP van der Merwe has opted to ride him which is encouraging. If fit, he may be the one to beat.
POMP IT UP is better than his last start in the Grade 3 Champagne Stakes. Craig Zackey does duty and he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
SCOTTISH KISS had excuses in the Non-Black Type Fairview 1400 last time. He gets the services of Mickaelle Michel who takes the 1.5kgs off his back. On best form shown, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 4
PEACHES AND CREAM has produced two creditable efforts since winning her maiden over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She stayed on at the finish over 1500m last time. Despite her big mass of 62.5kgs, she may be the one to side with.
MISS ATTITUDE finished 0.3 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
PUSHING LIMITS ran on strongly when third over 1000m last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The booking of Craig Zackey is a big plus and she cannot be discounted.
Race 5
BLACK CHEETAH should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung outwards in the final 400m. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Mickaelle Michel takes the 1.5kgs off his back. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he can return to winning ways.
CORK BAY showed good speed when winning his last start over 1200m. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He is in a good space and can follow up.
WORLDLY finished 2.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
Race 6
ALL THE RAGE is better than his last start in the Grade 2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes. He returns from a 14-week break which would have done him the world of good. The son of Rafeef clearly has class about him and if fit, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
THE US OF A tried hard when second in the Grade 3 Champagne Stakes last time. He would have come on from the run and will strip fitter. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
DUMBLEDORE finished 1.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
Race 7
MAJOR MASTER won his last start over this distance easier than the official margin suggests. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Master Of My Fate runs well for Sean Veale. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the awkward draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
PAY THE PALACE finished 0.3 lengths behind MAGIC VERSE last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.
MAGIC VERSE tried hard when fourth in the Listed Pocket Power Stakes last time. He has won twice and finished second once from six starts over this distance. He jumps from pole position and cannot be discounted.
Race 8
SUPER VIKING followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this distance. He raced from a handy position, moved up before getting caught late by Trip To Camelot. Despite his big mass of 63kgs, he can return to winning ways.
SMART HORSE finished 2.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
BALZI ROSSI finished 1.5 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. He is 1kg better off at the weights which is not enough for the tables to be turned.
Race 9
SUPREME FATE should have finished closer to the winner last time as she was held up for a run from the 300m mark to the finish. She has won twice and finished third twice from six starts over this distance. She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. With luck in running, she can return to winning ways.
MY ONLY WEAKNESS has decent consistent form to her credit. She finished 0.05 lengths behind JOU LEKKER DING, three runs ago. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
JOU LEKKER DING is better than her last start over 1600m. She is at her best over this distance and if this run has not come too soon, she can find a form return
