Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 2nd August where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

FORTHEGOODTIMES produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

ICEBERG ROSE was running on when third over 1100m on this course last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

SWEET CHERRY ran a fair race on debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The daughter of Malmoos would have come on from the run and with the natural improvement that is expected, she can finish in the placings.

Race 2

GIMME THE POWER has good consistent form to her name, but she has been costly to follow. She raced from a handy position over 1400m last time and stayed on to finish third. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight meets the right field and she may be the one to beat.

FLORAL KINGDOM stayed on when third over 1400m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She has no issues with the drop back to 1200m and is one of the leading contenders.

AYZAL may not have seen out the mile last time. She finished fourth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville in her penultimate run. She has scope and with Chad Little back in the saddle, she can feature.

Race 3

AFTER THE FIRE is a progressive individual who has shown improvement in each of her efforts to date. The daughter of One World will love the rise to 1750m. She jumps from a good draw of four and in this field, she can shed her maiden tag.

FUTURE PROSPECT should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung inwards and shifted away from the crop in the closing stages. She will strip a much fitter horse this afternoon. If keeping on a straight line, she should run a big race.

PEACEFUL DUCHESS stayed on when third over this C&D last time. She is back against her own sex and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 4

STAMPEDE AHEAD has taken on stronger in her last two starts, the latest of which was in the Listed East Coast Cup. She returns from a 13-week break which would have done her the world of good. She shed her maiden tag on this course. It is encouraging that Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle. She is likely to race on the pace and may be hard to peg back.

GOLDEN ANGEL finished 1.3 lengths behind SESAME last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.

HURRICANE FLIGHT finished 3.6 lengths behind SESAME in the race referred to above. She is 5.5kgs better off at the weights today. The 6yo mare will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.

Race 5

BUDDY BOY rallied late when third over this C&D last time. The son of What A Winter is a consistent individual and with Gavin Lerena retaining the ride, he can return to winning ways.

SONG TO THE MOON should have finished closer to the winner over this distance on the polytrack last time. He had to steady and switch for running room at the 300m mark that day. With a bit of luck in running, he should pose a massive threat.

SERPENTINE FIRE ran a good race when third over 2000m on this course last time. The son of Potala Palace over raced in the early stages of that contest and drops back to the mile. Marco van Rensburg retains the ride and if switching off early, he can show.

Race 6

ALLTHEBOYSIVELOVED finished 0.3 lengths behind BLUE POPPY last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. Callan Murray is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

IZIBULO has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. All three of her career victories have come over this distance. The blinkers remain fitted and she is one of the leading contenders.

BLUE POPPY lacked extra late when third over 1600m on the polytrack last time. She has won once and finished second once from three starts over this distance. From her good draw of two, she can finish in the placings.

Race 7

MIA‘S ATHENA has shown signs of needing her last two starts after returning from a 45-week break. It must be noted that multiple horses from her last form line have come out and won since. She takes a drop in class and will be at peak fitness. Gavin Lerena steps into the saddle and the 6yo mare can cause a surprise.

TRAFALGAR SQUARE has good consistent form to his credit. He was running on when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. Apprentice Damyan Pillay takes the 2.5kgs off his back which will assist his cause.

CAPPELLINO finished 0.2 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

Race 8

BILLY COOL was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He showed speed and found extra to keep all challengers at bay. The son of William Longsword received a six-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and if taking to this course, he can follow up.

BLAZING FURY tried hard when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. He finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle and the combination merit healthy respect.

CAVALRY COMMANDER lacked extra late when third over 1100m on this course last time. He finished second under Calvin Habib, four runs ago. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back
