Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday 29th July where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

SCOTS WAE HAE produced a promising debut effort when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He moved up well after a slow start that day and stayed on at the finish. The son of Malmoos returns from a 13-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. Gavin Lerena does duty and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

LENOXX stayed on when second over this C&D last time. The son of Querari has been costly to follow but is in a good space, and should pose a threat.

NAUTICAL FIRE has produced two good efforts to date. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus. He will strip much fitter and merits healthy respect.

Race 2

GIMME A FIREBALL produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on this course. He lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but stayed on to finish third. The son of Gimmethegreenlight returns from a 10-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

A M C ROY ON FIRE ran a fair race on debut over this C&D. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Willow Magic would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression.

ARKADIN should have finished closer last time as he hung inwards throughout. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Divesh Ramkhalawon retains the ride. If keeping on a straight line, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 3

SPARROW MAN finished off his race well on debut over 1100m. He lost a length leaving the start and took time to find his feet. The son of Gimmethegreenlight should love the rise to 1600m. If this run has not come too soon, he can shed his maiden tag.

TRIP TO VENUS showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and is one of the leading contenders.

UNITED TIDES ran a fair race over 1200m last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of The United States should enjoy the rise to 1600m and may have further improvement to come

Race 4

SOHO CELEBRITY showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. She raced from a handy position and found one too good in the form of Christmas Rose. The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and from pole position, she can go one better.

BLENHEIM PALACE finished 0.2 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

MAGICAL SPRING was outrun late when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. If confirming her recent improvement, she can finish in the placings.

Race 5

SOHOT SOWHAT was running on after a slow start over this distance on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has won three times and finished second twice from seven starts over this distance. The daughter of Soqrat is having her peak run and if getting away on terms, she can win.

DISTING finished 1.3 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

BUTTERCUP BABY finished 3.9 lengths behind the top choice in the race referred to above. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.

Race 6

COAST OF THE SUN made the expected natural improvement when victorious over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of Hawwaam ran on powerfully despite over racing in the early stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He does take on stronger, but looks to be above average and may be up to the task at hand.

KLEIN KAROO won his last start over this distance on the polytrack easier than the official margin suggests. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

THE MARQUEE was caught late when second over this C&D last time. The 13-week break may have done him the world of good. If not in need of the run, he may be hard to peg back.

Race 7

ANOTHER DREAM was not disgraced when fifth over this C&D last time. She took a keen hold in the early stages, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Futura takes a drop in class and if switching off early, she can return to winning ways.

ACT OF GRACE was doing her best work late when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Act Of War is back against her own sex. She is unbeaten from two starts on this course and can keep that record intact.

TREASURE ISLAND has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. She would have come on from her last outing and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Master Of My Fate may be rewarded for consistency.

Race 8

This is a competitive D Stakes and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is SPLASH OF LOVE from the Paul Lafferty stable. She followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1500m on this course. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was eye-catching. She is in a good space and from her good draw of two, she should give the males a run for their money.

DOUBLE OLYMPIC ran on from last when sixth over 1800m on the polytrack last time. He has cracked a good draw of four and if not too far out of his ground, he should be competitive.

FORT USHER dead-heated when shedding his maiden tag over this distance on the polytrack last time. The son of Global View takes on stronger, but he has plenty of scope and should give a good account of himself.
