NewcastleSJPMatchday 3 for Uefa Champions League Groups E to H takes place on Wednesday night and we take a look at the betting and have a tip for all matches including Newcastle v Dortmund

Matchday 3 Wednesday 25th October

Group E

Feyenoord 0.93/1 Draw 27/10 Lazio 11/4

Feyenoord went down 3-2 away to Atletico Madrid on Matchday 2, a game where all the goals came in the first half. They started with a 2-0 home win over Celtic who had 2 men sent off in the space of 5 second half minutes.

On Matchday 1 Lazio's equalizer at the death of their 1-1 draw at home to Atletico came from Provedel, their goalkeeper who made his way up for a late corner. Last time out they came away from Celtic with a 2-1 win with the decisive goal coming deep into injury time. Lazio made a poor start to their Serie A campaign but they have climbed into the top half of the table on the back of 3 wins in their last 4.

Lazio have been riding their luck in the opening group matches and I'm with Feyenoord to get the job done.

Bets: Feyenoord to win at 0.93/1 with Sportingbet

Celtic 26/10 Draw 26/10 Atletico even money

Celtic have yet to earn a point after their 2-0 defeat at Feyenoord was followed by a 2-1 loss at home to Lazio.

Atletico began with a 1-1 draw at Lazio and the 3-2 home win over Feyenoord puts them in a strong position. In La Liga they boast 7 wins alongside 1 draw and 1 defeat.

Another loss would pretty much end Celtic's hopes of qualification but Atletico are in good form domestically and I fancy they can win this and bring home the combo price boost.

Bets: Match result and total goals, Atletico win and over 2.5 goals, was 19/10 now 21/10 with Sportingbet

Group F

Newcastle 0.77/1 Draw 28/10 Dortmund 34/10

Newcastle's return to the UCL started with a 0-0 draw away to AC Milan and they followed up with a fine 4-1 home win over PSG to top the toughest of the groups. After a tough set of early season fixtures Newcastle have moved into the top 6 in the EPL and they unbeaten in their last 8 across all competitions.

Dortmund dug in for the first half of their 2-0 defeat to PSG but offered little threat of their own in front of goal and last time put they played out a 0-0 draw at home to AC Milan. Dortmund are unbeaten in the Bundesliga with 6 wins and 2 draws, good enough for fourth spot and just 2 points off the pace.

Two games in and Dortmund have yet to score which is unusual but they do have solid domestic form so Newcastle will have to put in another performance akin to the one that saw PSG beaten here.

I'm a little nervous of calling this match but I think Isak will start for the home side and will take him to score anytime

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Alexander Isak at 19/20 with Sportingbet

PSG 8/10 Draw 11/4 AC Milan 33/10

PSG were 2-0 winners at home to Dortmund on Matchday 1. Mbappe gave them the lead from the penalty spot early in the second half and Hakimi sealed a deserved victory. They were way below par in the 4-1 defeat at Newcastle last time out whilst in Ligue 1 they have 5 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat against their name.

Milan missed the better of the chances in their 0-0 draw with Newcastle and after another stalemate away to Dortmund we have yet to see a goal in their group matches. Milan have won 7 and lost 2 of their first 9 Serie A matches.

If Milan lose here they will have serious ground to make up in the second half of the group stage. Their Serie A form is solid but I'm with PSG to put their poor showing at Newcastle behind them by winning 2-0 or 2-1 (level stakes) .

Bets: PSG to win 2-0 at 8.25/1 and PSG to win 2-1 at 7.25/1 with Sportingbet

Group G

Young Boys 12.5/1 Draw 6.25/1 Man City 1 / 5

Young Boys lost 3-1 at home to Leipzig on Matchday 1 and last time out they took a point from a 2-2 draw away to Crvena Zvezda.

UCL defending champions Man City had to come from 1-0 down at half time to see off Crvena Zvezda in a home fixture on Matchday 1 with Alvarez (twice) and Rodri scoring their goals in a 3-1 win. They followed up with another 3-1 win away to Leipzig with Alvarez on target again and Halaand has fired blanks in the first 2 group matches. City have won 7 and lost 2 of their EPL matches and at the time of writing they were joint top with Arsenal.

City's UCL matches are usually one sided betting heats. I'll look for a goalscorer and Jeremy Doku gets the vote

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Doku at 18/10 with Sportingbet

RB Leipzig 1 / 4 Draw 11/2 Crvena Zvezda 10/1

Leipzig were 3-1 winners away to Young Boys on Matchday 1 before going down by the same scoreline in their home game against Manchester City. Leipzig are fifth in the Bundesliga with a record of 5 wins, 2 draws and just the one defeat.

After their 3-1 defeat away to Manchester City Crvena Zvezda needed a late equalizer to take a point in the 2-2 draw at home to Young Boys.

I take the view Leipzig will be too good and will go with the HT/FT price boost

Bets: HT/FT Leipzig/Leipzig, was 0.71/1 now 0.83/1 with Sportingbet

Group H

Antwerp 5/2 Draw 5/2 FC Porto 21/20

Antwerp are bottom of this group having lost both their matches so far, 5-0 at Barcelona and 3-2 at home to Shahktar in a game they led 2-0 at half time.

FC Porto were 3-1 winners away to Shakhtar in their opening game with all the goals coming in the first half hour. They couldn't follow up on Matchday 2 when they went down 1-0 at home to Barcelona.

Antwerp let things slip on Matchday 2 but they might give Porto a game here. I'm siding with Both teams to score and either team to win

Bets: Both teams to score and either team to win at 1.45/1 with Sportingbet

Barcelona 1 / 5 Draw 6.25/1 Shakhtar Donetsk 13.5/1

Barca coasted to a 5-0 home win over Antwerp on Matchday 1 with Joao Felix scoring a brace and a Ferran Torres goal sealed a 1-0 victory at Porto. Barcelona boast 7 wins and 3 draws from 9 matches in La Liga and they are in third spot, 1 point off the pace.

After losing their opening match 3-1 at home to Porto Silkan scored 2 of Shakhtar's goals in the come from behind 3-2 win at Antwerp to put themselves on the board.

I'll go with 2 or more goals to be scored in both halves of this one.

Bets: 2 or more goals to be scored in both halves? Yes at 21/10 with Sportingbet
