WSB Logo Orange 80x80We head to Monaco this week as F1 gears up for one of the most anticipated races of the year and one that is steeped in history. Qualifying will be key on this street circuit where overtaking is notoriously tough.

We will take a look at this week’s race from a betting angle and offer up a couple of bets for your consideration.

PREVIOUS RACE –Emilia Romagna GP

Max Verstappen returned to the winner’s circle last weekend after delivering a solid drive. He made a move going into the first corner, taking the lead and managing the race from there. Lando Norris secured yet another second place ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri who finished in third.

Lando Norris                     133 points

Max Verstappen              124 points

VERDICT

Oscar Piastri has qualified on pole position in two of his last four races, He also currently has the most wins this season of any driver and leads the driver’s championship. At last year’s Monaco GP, he qualified in second place and went on to finish second as well. If he can continue his impressive qualifying form from this season, he stands a very good chance of winning the race.

This bet comes with money back for 2nd insurance, see the promo details below.

Suggested Bet: Oscar Piastri to win at 2.90.

Lando Norris has finished second or better in five of the seven races so far this season. Last weekend he had a very impressive drive, after qualifying fourth he turned it around in the race making a few good overtakes and passing his teammate along the way to finish in second place. He will be hoping to carry the momentum into this weekend, but I think he is set to bridesmaid yet again.

Suggested Bet: Lando Norris to finish 2nd at 3.50
