We head to Monaco this week as F1 gears up for one of the most anticipated races of the year and one that is steeped in history. Qualifying will be key on this street circuit where overtaking is notoriously tough.

Monaco GP 2024
Last year’s Monaco GP saw Charles Leclerc win the race for the first time in front of his home crowd. Oscar Piastri finished in second while Carlos Sainz grabbed third place. The drivers who finished in the top ten of the race all finished in the same position they qualified in.

Lando Norris has finished second or better in five of the seven races so far this season. Last weekend he had a very impressive drive, after qualifying fourth he turned it around in the race making a few good overtakes and passing his teammate along the way to finish in second place. He will be hoping to carry the momentum into this weekend, but I think he is set to bridesmaid yet again.
