Friday 24th April Royal Challengers v Gujarat Titans

Venue: M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

Match Result Betting: RCB 0.62/1 Titans 13/10

RCB have won 4 and lost 2 of their matches so far and their record at this venue comprises of 3 wins and 1 defeat. That 1 loss in Bengaluru came in their most recent outing against Delhi Capitals where RCB posted 165/8 but in a thrilling finish Delhi chased it down with a ball to spare. Earlier results delivered comfortable home wins for RCB against LSG, the Sunrisers and CSK and also away to Mumbai but they did lose away to Rajasthan Royals.

The Titans have played 6 matches, winning 3 and losing 3. They lost their first 2 matches narrowly, away to Punjab and at home to Rajasthan Royals before they put themselves on the board with a 1 run victory over the Capitals in Delhi. The Titans then took on LSG in Lucknow and came through with a 7 wicket win. They also beat KKR by 5 wickets in a home fixture but last time out they were thrashed by Mumbai Indians by 99 runs away from home, bowled out for just 100 when chasing double that for victory.

The Titans batting folded last time out but prior to that Gill was going well and I’m with home to score the most sixes for the visitors.

Bets: Titans player to score the most sixes Gill at 3.75/1 with Pokerbet

Saturday 25th April Delhi Capitals v Punjab Kings

Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

Match Result Betting: Delhi 13/10 Punjab Kings 0.63/1

The Capitals have won 3 and lost 3 of their 6 matches. They started with a win at Lucknow and at followed up at home to Mumbai before back to back defeats at home to the Titans and in Chennai. Delhi beat RCB by 6 wickets in Bangalore but last time out they went down by 47 runs away to the Sunrisers who posted 242/2 and DC’s run chase closed on 195/9 (Rana 57).

Punjab Kings have 5 wins and 1 no result against their name and are the only unbeaten side in the tournament. In their latest outing the Kings beat LSG by 54 runs in a home fixture, posting 254/7 (Priyansh Arya 93, Cooper Connolly 87). The Kings started with a 3 wicket win at home to the Titans and followed up with a 5 wicket victory at CSK. They had KKR in trouble at 25/2 when rain forced the abandonment of their third match and they ran out 6 wicket winners at home to the Sunrisers and 7 wicket victors away to Mumbai.

The most recent of two games at this venue saw KL Rahul hit 90 for Delhi and although he faces an inform bowling unit here I’ll go with him to score 50.

Bets: To score a 50 KL Rahul yes at 23/10 with Pokerbet

Saturday 25th April Rajasthan Royals v Sunrisers Hyderabad

Venue: Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

Match Result Betting: Royals 0.77/1 Sunrisers 21/20

After starting with 4 straight wins before suffering back to back defeats the Royals took on LSG away from home in their latest outing and they returned to the winners enclosure, coming out on top by 40 runs. Jadeja top scored with 43 not out in their bat first total of 159/6 before Archer (3 wickets) and Burger and Sharma (2 each) helped bowl LSG out for just 119 in 18 overs.

The Sunrisers have played 7 matches and have 4 wins and 3 defeats against their name. They have just reeled off 3 impressive home wins, first ending the Royals 100% start to the tournament with a 57 run victory, they followed up with a 10 run victory over CSK and last time out they smashed 242/2 (Abhishek Sharma 135 not out) in a 47 run win over Delhi Capitals (Eshan Malinga 4/32).

This is the first match at Jaipur and I’m looking for 200 or more from whichever side bats first

Bets: 1st Innings total runs 200 or more at 9/10 with Pokerbet

Sunday 26th April Lucknow Super Giants vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Venue: Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow

Match Result Betting: LSG 17/20 KKR 19/20

LSG hosted the Royals in their most recent outing and they slumped to a fourth straight defeat, going down by 40 runs. Moshin Khan with 2/17 was the pick of the LSG bowlers as the Royals posted 159/6 but Badoni, Pant and Markam were all out for ducks at the top of the LSG batting order and they were bowled out for 119. LSG now have a record of 2 wins and 5 defeats, 1 of those wins came in Kolkata when they beat the Knight Riders by 3 wickets in Match 15.

KKR opened their win account at the seventh time of asking when they beat Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in a home fixture last Sunday. Varun Chakaravarthy (3/14) and Kartik Tyagi (3/22) kept the Royals to 155/9 and despite losing both openers for ducks KKR held their nerve with Rinku Singh (53 not out) helping to get them over the line with 2 balls to spare. KKR’s home fixture with Punjab had to be abandoned and their 5 other matches all ended in defeat including a 3 wicket loss to LSG in Match 15.

It’s hard to back either side with any confidence but although they have yet to win a home game, given they have had 3 looks at the conditions slight preference is for an LSG player to score 62 or more.

Bets: LSG highest individual score, over 61.5 at 17/20 with Pokerbet
