All of the IPL teams have a game under their belt as we move onto the our next preview which has a play for all matches from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th April.
Odds are subject to change
Thursday 2nd April Kolkata Knight Riders v Sunrisers Hyderabad
Venue: Eden Gardens, Kolkata
KKR travelled to Mumbai for their opening match on Sunday and they went down by 5 wickets. They posted 220/4 (Rahane 67, Raghuvanshi 51) but MI’s opening pair put on 148 for their first stick and Mumbai got home with 5 balls to spare.
The Sunrisers started their tournament away to the Royal Challengers and Bengaluru and they also lost by a 6 wicket margin. They posted 201/9 batting first (Ishan Kishan 80, Aniket Verma 43) but RCB crashed off the chase in just 15.4 overs.
Match Result Betting: Knight Riders 9/10 Sunrisers 9/10
KKR hit 10 maximums in their defeat to Mumbai whilst the Sunrisers cleared the ropes 12 times in their loss at RCB and the total match sixes line is under / over 19.5. However, my preference is for a highest individual total of over 75.5 runs.
Bets: Highest Individual Score over 75.5 runs at 0.87/1 with WSB
Friday 3rd April Chennai Super Kings v Punjab Kings
Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
CSK started away to the Rajasthan Royals in Match 3 on Monday and they were thrashed by 8 wickets. They lost the toss and were invited to bat first and only 3 players reached double figures in a total of 127 all out (Overton 43). The chase was completed in just 12.1 overs and CSK have some thinking to do.
Punjab Kings began their tournament with a home fixture against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday and they came out on top by 3 wickets. They restricted the Titans to 162/6 (Vyshak 3/34) and although there was a wobble in the middle order Cooper Connolly held things together and his unbeaten 72 off 44 balls helped Punjab get up in 19.1 overs
Match Result Betting: Super Kings 12/10 Punjab 0.67/1
Whilst CSK struggled with the bat in their opening match Punjab hit 14 maximums in a chase of 163 for victory and that leads me to back them to hit the most sixes here.
Bets: Most Sixes Punjab Kings at 0.77/1 with Sportingbet
Saturday 4th April Delhi Capitals v Mumbai Indians
Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi
Delhi Capitals first action of IPL 2026 sees them visit Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday and we will update this preview with the details of how that went and the betting for this game in due course.
Outright favourites Mumbai Indians made a winning start at home to the Knight Riders, coming out on top by 6 wickets. They found themselves chasing down a healthy 220/4 from KKR and Shardul Thakur fared best of their bowlers with figures of 3/39. Rickelton (81) and Rohit Sharma (78) then put on 148 for the first wicket to lay the platform for victory which was completed in 19.1 overs.

Punjab made a solid start to the chase until 83/1 became 118/6 but they held their nerve and closed the game out with 5 balls to spare. Prasidh Krishna as the top Titans bowler with figures of 3/29.
