Burnley v Arsenal, Spurs v Chelsea and Liverpool v Aston Villa all feature on Saturday’s English Premier League coupon and we have a play for all seven matches

Prices quoted are correct at the time of publication but subject to change.

Brighton v Leeds

Brighton lost 4-2 at Man United last week, they have 12 points against their name and return to home turf where they are unbeaten this season with wins over Newcastle and Man City and score draws with Fulham in Spurs.

Leeds claimed a vital 2-1 home win over West Ham last weekend to move up to 11 points, 6 clear of the drop zone. They have won away win this season, 3-1 at Wolves but they failed to score in 3 other road trips, at Arsenal, Fulham and more recently Burnley, all of which ended in defeat.

Leeds will work super hard but Brighton are going well in terms of home form. I’ll look for an anytime goalscorer and the home sides Georginio Rutter fits the bill.

Bet: Anytime Goalscorer Georginio Rutter at 24/10 with Pokerbet

Burnley v Arsenal

Back to back wins at home to Leeds and away at Wolves have moved Burnley up to 10 points. They have also beaten Sunderland and drawn with Forest at Turf Moor and their only home defeat so far came to a late Liverpool penalty.

After a 1-0 home win over Palace last week Arsenal finished the round 4 points clear of Bournemouth at the top of the standings. They have conceded just 3 league goals this season and their only dropped points came in a 1-0 loss at Liverpool and 1-1 draw at home to Man City.

Burnley have done well in their home games but now face a huge task against the league leaders. One would expect the Gunners to dominate but the home side to give their all. I’m not that keen on anything but will take my chances with Burnley picking up 3 cards or more.

Bet: Burnley total cards, over 2.5 at 19/10 with Sportingbet

Palace v Brentford

Palace have taken just 1 point from their last 3 league games to slip out of the leading group. They are unbeaten at home, getting the better of Liverpool and playing our draws with Forest, Sunderland and Bournemouth.

Brentford are on a roll with 3 wins in their last 4 league games, 2 of which came at home to Man United and Liverpool and they are in mid table alongside Palace with 13 points. They saw off West Ham 2-0 to claim their first points on the road and have also advanced to the EFL Cup quarter finals.

Palace put a weakened Liverpool side away in the EFL Cup in midweek and now bid to return to the winners enclosure in the league. Meanwhile Brentford are in good shape, they have improved a ton since early in the season and can be a handful. My gut feel is another over 2.5 and btts yes outcome.

Bet: Total goals and both teams to score? Over 2.5 and yes at 9/10 with Sportingbet

Fulham v Wolves

Fulham reached the EFL Cup quarters in midweek after getting the better of Wycombe in a penalty shoot out. They now switch focus to repairing their league form after 4 successive defeats, away to Villa, Bournemouth and most recently Newcastle and a 1-0 loss to arsenal in their most recent home game.

Wolves remain rooted to foot of the table with just 2 points from a draw at home to Brighton and a point from a trip to Spurs. Their last 2 league games have seen them lose to newly promoted sides, 2-0 at Sunderland and 3-2 at home to Burnley.

Fulham’s Raul Jiminez comes up against his former club and I see him having a lively game. I’ll have a speculative play he can register 3 or more shots on target.

Bet: Player shots on target Raul Jiminez over 2.5 at 6/1 with Pokerbet

Forest v Man United

Sean Dyche picked up a win in his first game as Forest manager at home to Porto in the Europa League but last week’s EPL visit to Bournemouth saw them beaten 2-0. They remain in the bottom 3 with just 5 points and without a win since beating Brentford in a home fixture on the opening weekend.

United were 4-2 winners at home to Brighton last week, a fifth win in the last 7 leagues and a third in a row. They have only taken 4 points from 4 road trips but did get the better of Liverpool, 2-1 at Anfield in their most recent away fixture.

It’s very early to judge Dyche at Forest, at least he has had another week with the squad but he comes up against a United side growing in confidence. I’m with both teams to score in a game of 3 goals or more in total.

Bet: Total goals and both teams to score? Over 2.5 and yes at 9/10 with Sportingbet

Spurs v Chelsea

A 3-0 win for Spurs at Everton kept their unbeaten away record in tact and saw them the finish the round in third position with 17 points. However they did lose away at Newcastle in the EFL Cup in midweek whilst only 4 league points have been earned from as many home games which have seen them beat Burnley, lose to Bournemouth and Villa and draw with Wolves.

Chelsea lost 2-1 at home to Sunderland last weekend and they remain on 14 points and are now just above halfway in the standings. They have won at Forest and West Ham this season in addition to a draw at Brentford and a defeat at Man United. Chelsea were 4-2 winners at Wolves in the EFL Cup on Wednesday but Delap became the latest Chelsea player to pick up a red card he will miss this match and they could be very short of options up front unless Joao Pedro is fit.

I'm going drop a dead bat on this one and go with a draw.

Bet: Match Result Draw at 26/10 with Pokerbet

Liverpool v Aston Villa

A 3-2 loss at Brentford last weekend was Liverpool’s fourth league defeat in a row and it saw them slip out of the top 6 and 7 points off the pace being set by Arsenal. Only one of those defeats was a home fixture, a 2-1 loss to Man United and they took maximum points from their first 3 EPL home games.

By contrast Villa have reeled off 4 straight league wins to recover from a poor start to the season and they have now joined Liverpool on 15 points. A 1-0 home win over Man City last weekend was arguably the pick of that sequence but they also came from behind to win 2-1 at high flying Spurs in their most recent away game.

Isak and Alisson remain sidelined for Liverpool who fielded a reserve side in a 3-0 home defeat to Palace in the EFL Cup in midweek. The home side are certainly no bankers to bounce back against in form Villa but the price boost for Mo Salah to score first did make some appeal to me.

Bet: 1st Goalscorer Mo Salah boosted to 11/2 with Sportingbet
