Sunday’s English Premier League coupon comprises of four matches and we have a play in every game including Bournemouth vs Liverpool, Man City vs Sunderland and Fulham vs Man United
Bournemouth vs Liverpool
Bournemouth are still looking for their first league win after a 2-1 defeat at Man City on the opening weekend was followed by score draws at home to Everton and most recently Brentford either side of sharing 4 goals at Newcastle.
Liverpool are unbeaten but 3 of their 4 EPL games have also ended all square. Their only win came at Ipswich (2-0) and they have played out 2-2 draws at Newcastle and at home to Forest whilst last weekend’s 0-0 stalemate with Fulham at Anfield would have let many favourite backers down. Liverpool have won in the UCL, 2-1 at home to Atletico and in midweek a much changed side beat Spurs 3-1 in an EFL Cup home fixture.
Verdict
Bournemouth welcome back their old boss and I fancy this will be very competitive. Both sides have been involved in a number of draws already and this might just be another one.

Leeds vs Crystal Palace
Unbeaten Leeds are really flying and on Monday night a 4-1 home win over Newcastle saw them finish Round 4 in third place with 8 points. They began with a 1-0 win away to Forest and followed up with a couple of 1-1 draws at home to Brentford and Brighton. The only blemish so far came in a 6-3 EFL Cup defeat at Chelsea.
Palace opened their points account with a 3-2 London derby win away to Fulham in Round 3 but they couldn’t follow up last weekend when they lost 3-2 at home to Ipswich. Palace also lost their first 2 league games 2-0 away to Everton and 4-1 at home to Man City. Palace were 3-0 winners at home to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup and in midweek they thrashed Lech Poznan 4-0 in their first Europa League fixture at Selhurst Park.
Verdict
Leeds are the form pick against a Palace side who have been leaking goals but I think the winning margin will be of the minimum variety
Bets: Leeds to win by 1 goal exactly at 28/10 with Hollywoodbets
Man City vs Sunderland
Despite playing the bulk of last week’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford with 10 men City came out on top 1-0 to maintain their 100% record in the EPL and keep up the pace with Arsenal at the top of the standings. In earlier results City needed two late goals to come from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 before a 4-1 win at Palace and 1-0 home win over Coventry. City also won their first UCL match 2-0 at Porto and on Thursday a much changed side crushed Norwich 5-0 in the EFL Cup. Sunderland marked a first European game for 53 years with a 1-0 home win over AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday and now return to league action looking to bounce back from a 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal last weekend where they missed a penalty at 0-0. After losing 2-1 at Ipswich first up they beat Fulham 1-0 and they might have been a touch unfortunate to only come away from Brentford with a point from a 1-1 draw.
Verdict
City rested some big guns in midweek whilst Sunderland were involved in an energy sapping Europa League tie. That could well catch up with the away side but I still feel they have a goal in them.
Bets: Both teams to score? Yes at even money with Hollywoodbets
Fulham vs Man United
Fulham’s first point of the season came at Anfield last weekend when they held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw. Prior to that they had lost 3-2 at home to Chelsea, 1-0 at Sunderland and 3-2 at home to Palace. In midweek Fulham came through an EFL Cup tie away to West Ham with a 3-2 win.
After the 1-0 loss at home to City in last weekend’s derby United now have a record of 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats. They were way off it in their 2-0 defeat at Hull on the opening weekend but they bounced back with aa 5-2 win over Ipswich before a 2-2 draw at Everton. In the UCL they did complete a 4-0 home win over rank outsiders Sabah Baku but in midweek they let a 2-0 lead slip in a 3-2 home defeat to Brighton in the EFL Cup.
Verdict
Fulham should be feeling a lot better about themselves after a draw at Anfield and even the midweek EFL Cup win and I think they can cause problems for United. I’m with both sides scoring in a game of 3 goals or more in total.
Bets: Both teams to score and total goals over 2.5? yes at 5/6 with Sportingbet
