The URC is back with 8 matches in Round 6, and the blog is up and running . I’m not going to handicap the games at this stage, but I’ll be very interested to see where the opening lines land.
Team news will be crucial, especially after the break.
Have a good week everyone

Ospreys missing several players due to international Windows and injuries, expect Edinburgh to going strong so I'd put the line around 23-24 points difference so value in the home side.

Rain had cleared and previous meetings between these two have exceeded this.
Edit: Arse - surprised the bet came that close at the end........

None of the front line Ireland players picked.
Lightweight/callow Leinster locking pair (Although Snyman is on bench)
Munster going strong with internationals selected. I note Kleyn is missing ( Starting for SA v Wales) Note sure why?
No bet for me as 10.5pts is big concession to the URC leaders

The weather in the UK is a little warmer , lots of dew on the grass , but the artificial pitches should be ok. No rain forecast anywhere sadly .
the boys are brave backing the Dragooons , they are really shite and I havesadly followed on the big plusses many times only to be screwed over . However i do remember one game in 2021 where the Goooons lost 6-7 to Leinster , so with that in mind and a weak Leinster side I shall follow the crowd into teh bomb shelter and take plus 20.5 , I'll also take a little Goons over 13.5 points.
In Belfast earlier they had a little rain. Ulster are large cap favourites and for me this is potentially an unders at 50.5 and will be joining Brent here . Hoping a weaker Bennetton side struggle to score.
In the Premiership the hopeless Newcastle welcome Leicester , the cap is out to 13.5 and I still think it's ok. So I'm on the minus there , points hard to tell.
Lastly , really like Exeter plus 5.5 and going unders in Salford at 47.5.
