It was a profitable weekend but one that could have been a lot better had USA held on against Australia

Currie Cup:

I went 3 from 4 in the Currie Cup with the Griquas and Sharks board bets the highlights. I am holding onto my Griquas 25/1 outright ticket

Here are my handicap projections for week 7

Sharks +7.5 vs Pumas – 5 Sep, Kings Park, Durban
Western Province +5.5 vs Boland – 6 Sep, Cape Town
Lions -6.5 vs Griquas – 6 Sep, Ellis Park
Bulls +9.5 vs Cheetahs – 6 Sep, Loftus

Currie Cup Week 7 Blog

Women’s Rugby World Cup (WRWC):

It was another profitable weekend with the USA delivering the +14.5 and the Bok ladies an outright win bet.

If only the USA had won though I had them at 5/1 and 15/2 (in-running) and we also had the 29/1 newsletter acca of Sharks, USA and SA all to win – click here to receive my newsletter

Bookies will (again) hold off on team news this week as I expect that to be massive.

Reckon we could find ourselves in the weird situation where 4 of the top 5 teams on the log aren't favourites for their final round matches.

Would not be surprised if Sharks field a stronger team. That being said I have seen Saracens are here so I presume the top dogs will be kept for that one.

But I have it on good authority that both WP and Bulls will be fielding URC squads - sorry Boland and Cheetahs!

Hello peeps of the GFTG ( punters family) forum & those like me who have really appreciated this wonderful site for many years but kept schtoom on the forum front.
Going to give it a stab @ contributing .
( my claim to fame is having longer losing streaks than winning ones so my posts will come with a public legal & liability disclaimer )

Thanks to all you great contributors who make this site such an asset and special thanks to Brent & Chris .

Welcome Mojo!

Great to be back on the new forum lads

As Couch says team news will be crucial in the Currie Cup but also the WRWC

A very tricky looking week but I would rather be a punter than a bookie

Nice to see the new forum and site, great work Chris and Brent.

Looking at a big overs play in AUS v ARG, daytime ko and good conditions forecast, humidity seems fine. Waiting for some points lines.
