The first local race meeting of this week will be Durbanville on Wednesday, the schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:

Thursday 19th March – Turffontein (Inside track)
Friday 20th March – Fairview (including EC Guineas and EC Sprint Cup)
Saturday 21st March – Durbanville
Saturday 21st March - Turffontein (including Gr3 Sycamore Sprint)
Sunday 22nd March – Greyville

Found one at a decent enough price on Wednesday and hit the post with a couple of others and trailed in in the 3700's of 11,000 or so entries in the Punters Challenge. Will have another go at Turffontein on Thursday

Fairview Friday made the top 300 out of 10k Punters Challenge entries, batting on again today.

Turffontein, earlier juvenile and maiden races small fields and little appeal to me. Later on trying these, each way not really confident but nice enough prices if I can catch a win and / or some places

R7 Sonic Jet 25/1 ew, yard in form, probably a bit sharp but has pace, think this one goes to stud at end of season and looking for a bit more black type

R8 Back From War 7/1 win , Again might be a bit sharp but MR coming down and Zackey takes the ride

R9 Chasing Happiness 16/1 each way. third in the best weighted column and collateral form lines show some weight turnarounds which bring her into the equation. 2 from 8 over C&D, has won in wet if it rains and De Melo up 

Not sure if I've time to look at Durbanville, play well if you on the horses today 

Only one for me today, no real feel for this card.

Turffontein Race 2- Ocean Mistress 3/1 @ WSB

A bit of enthusiasm for Sunday's Greyville card 

R2 Beyond All Doubt win at 3/1, lost 3l and ran on well last tine, was a huge price that day which is a surprise as yard likes to have a go but hoping that proves to be the best form in the race.

R4 Radu at 16/1 each way. excuses last 2 runs, good c&d record, well drawn at 2 and MR dropping

R5 Rani Tarabai at 14/1 each way, unlucky with the draw again, 3 most recent runs quite spread out but not too shabby, still lightly raced, Bling up

R6 Torn between High Queue and Tobacconist, probably go High Queue (33/10) drawn 2

R7 Diani each way at 33/1, been following this one for a long time without success, just starting to get some leeway from handicapper, 2 from 6 c&d and well drawn at 2 

R8 Town Crier at around 6/1, another badly drawn but consistent c&d winner

R9 The Gliding Fish, each way at 16/1, ignore last run (excuses) and form is decent, rating is below last winning mark, perhaps watch out for betting support which would bode well
