some great racing coming up on Saturday at Scottsville, a number of graded features. Will be interested to see how draws impact the fields in the big sprints, as definitely a bias to outside draws on sunday just gone.
on that basis in the first feature PALACE OF ARVENIA @ 12/1, likely bigger available on day, could be a lurker from wide draw, her one win hasn't shown her hand on debut and could be anything. does have a few top sorts to beat.

Scottsville's big day on Saturday with the sprint features the main attraction. Will have a good look at the card later and post any picks Saturday morning. Many thanks to Southpaw who has already labelled Palace of Avernia as a value play in Race 5.

Scottsville Saturday plays
R2 Etzebeth at around 11/2, has looked an awkward ride but seems yard has settled n 1400m as preferred trip right now and doesn't look like an overly strong field
R3 Serpentine Fire at around 8/1, have been following this one including last time when no show at all but reportedly had excuses. C&D winner, well drawn at 2. Another I like is Tagaryen Knight as a value play at 20/1. Looking at past form both picks are closely matched with Next of Kin who is 3/1 fav.
R4 Would prefer a slightly shorter trip but will take my usual bet on Diani, 20/1 right now will probably be hr shotest price I've ever backed this one at
R5 Think Get Up was super impressive last time and is a worthy fav albeit offering little value and as South pointed out some very unexposed and potentially top draw 2yo in the field. Will probably go places on Top Secret, Lucky's runners when raiding usually worth a look.
R7 Hard horse to catch right but Lion Rampart looks big at 25/1 for an each way play, cracking return from a break last time over 1000m and think 1200 will suit better
R8 Very interesting to see how Double Grand Slam goes over this trip but I'm with Asiye Phambile at around 7/2, C7D record of 2 wins and 4 places from 7 runs
Play well guys

travelling today so a bit tight on time, just quick selections -
S5 - Palace of Arvernia @ 18/1 ew. hoping for an upset from wide draw where going seems to be better.
S7 - Fox on the Run @ 18/1 ew. low mass and has shown can sprint so hoping drop in trip suits.
S8 - Mia Moo @ 14/1 ew. weighted to place, staying loyal, flew home late last time.
S9 - Cognac @ 14/1 ew, hoping for return to form.
