After July week it's pretty run of the mill for the next 7 days, here is the schedule.

Monday 6th July – no local racing
Tuesday 7th July - Durbanville
Wednesday 8th July – Scottsville
Thursday 9th July – Turffontein (inside track)
Friday 10th July – Fairview (PE Gold Cup and Paddock Stakes)
Saturday 11th July – Turffontein (Standside track)
Sunday 12th July – Greyville (Polytrack)

Competitive race meeting @ Scottsville today.

Race 2 - Soho Celebrity (12/1) - Nice e/w should the favorite fluff her lines. 14/10 a top 3 placing.  

Race 3 - Mekong 15/10 for a top 4 placing. Quite a few with form in this race. Hasn't been too far off against some decent horses.

Race 4 - Redoubt Express (26/10) should improve on his debut and has more to come than favorite, Charlie Bucket, who has had his fair share of chances in Cape Town and drew 10/11. Swingers and exactas with Deonarie (28/10) who has been close up in both starts to date. 

Race 5 - Future Prospect (4/1) improving as he steps up in trip. Formline of last race is quite strong. Yards only runner on the day. Watch the betting on Bourbon's Beast (13/2) as the stable has a line through Skipper O'Malley. 

Race 7 - Red Cardinal 2/1 for a top 4 place. Stable comments are positive, tries extra 200m and jockey knows him well. Tunguska (19/10) brings strong winning form into the race, stables only runner on the day. 

Race 8 - Let It Roll (9/1) has more scope to improve and could follow up carrying only 54kgs. 15/10 for a top 4 looks generous. Swingers with the favorite, Red Coral (4/1), who is aiming to make it 3rd time lucky since arriving in KZN. 

Race 9 - Yannakis (6/1) goes well fresh and has good form over C&D. Apprentice Ramkhalawon won twice on him before. Very open race and certainly not a P6 banker.

Race 6 - Space Mission (6/1) won the KZN Breeders 1600 last time out. The AR of that race was 76 compared to 70 today. Hes been racing against stronger. Can win despite the wide draw. 

Race 8 - Winter In Auckland (9/2) solid Cape form. Can win here if fully fit after a rest.
