All Racing Tips w/c 14th September

No local racing on Monday or Tuesday this week, the schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:

Wednesday Durbanville
Thusday Vaal
Friday, Fairview and Greyville
Saturday Turffontein
Sunday Scottsville

Had a poor time of it on the horses last week so looking for a bounce back. Plenty of copy to follow and all this week's racing tips are most welcome here

No betting out yet, but all of Bad Medicine, Gimmethatworldcup, Anotherdanceforme and Golden Palm in action at Fairview on Friday.

Wednesday weather forecast not great so hoping they race at Durbanville, picked out a few below, most have proven they handle wet, competitive card by the look it

Race 4 Wehaveasituation each way at 14/1. Hinted at a return to form last time, 1 point above last winning mark and handles cut.
Race 5 United Front at 4/1. Good win latest on return to WCP, not overly punished by handicapper and 2 from 2 over c&d. Big player if he can overcome the widest gate
Race 6 Red Flag at 3/1. Fluent win to get out of the maidens last time out. More needed here but plenty of scope for improvement and quite possible there could be some blue sky in the merit rating of 80
Race 7 Gold Dust at 7/1, backed and ran a gallant 2nd last time, good record in wet and jumps from gate 1
Race 8 Pink Pigeon at 5/2. Holds a number of these on 15th August run at Kenilworth, also goes well this course, handles cut and drawn 4 with de Melo up.

D8 - Trois Sept Huit @ 13/2 ew. I like the jockey booking, gavin down for a few rides and staying until last, with good form for yard. TSH has a great turn of foot, i think could be better on straight but last time out lost a lot of ground at start and just ran out of it final 100m.

D4 - Baton Rouge @ 7/1 ew. horse seems to be in a good place and likes the ground, hoping can get the hatrick in same division. 
 

My plays for Vaal on Thursday

Race 4 Force Publique at 5/1. Having his 3rd run after a break, was backed in both previous efforts, de Melo retains ride, MR dropping
Race 7 Rock My Boat at 33/10. Went close last time in a stronger race for talented appy who retains the ride
Race 8 Salute The Flag at 7/2. Another one dropping in class, significant jockey booking of Lerena
Race 9 Mount Pinatubo at 9/2. Only runner on the day for a powerful yard, first time at this course but has won 3 from 8 over this trip.
