Had no idea local Betway Prem starts up this weekend, might not be a bad thing to swerve the early rounds from my side as haven't followed what's been going on since end of last season but will jump in with previews when I'm up to speed.

Thank you Chris, however FCSB lost in what was a big surprise and my double didn't land this time.Had no idea local Betway Prem starts up this weekend, might not be a bad thing to swerve the early rounds from my side as haven't followed what's been going on since end of last season but will jump in with previews when I'm up to speed.

yeah sorry mate, misread the post and edited my reply, Benfica sailed home so stiff with the upset in the other leg. New season coming way too soon for me after World Cup

Nice to have the Betway Prem starting tomorrow. Anyone care to tell me why the sponsors have exactly 1 outright bet offer for the season? I am quite prepared to lose some money on top 2 - top 8 - to be relegated etc. I rate it as a little shoddy from Betway. They should be taking the lead here.

Betway also snuck up on me
A double to get me going
Pirates -1.5 8/10 onto Chiefs win 0.78/1 at 22/10
Both playing newly promoted teams who I think will struggle

Will join on the Brent double.
Stellies have lost their two best players and the club seems disorganized with Hunt's tongue in cheek comment every time he speaks to the press he finds out he has lost a player. They also failed to arrange a home stadium so they will be playing today's home fixture in Durban. Siwelele have lost half a dozen players and replaced them mostly with youngsters. May take a while to settle. Worth opposing these two sides early doors.
Double chance
Amazulu + TS Galaxy @ 33/20
and we always start the season with a hope for less show off and more goals
Over 2.5 goals at
Arrows/Pirates/Kruger @ 13/2

Nice win for Amazulu Vann, I have done some reading and reckon they could be genuine dark horses this year
The PSL double arrives and while tempted to announce my retirement and remain unbeaten in the 26/27 season I have listened to the voices of the public and will keep going
Todays play
Richards Bay win at 19/10
They look to have strengthen their squad and had a strong home record last year with only 2 defeats (although they did have 8 draws) - co manager from last season now appointed full manager
Polokwane have a new manager and their new players are not well known
Polokwane away games averaged 1.4 goals last season so expect them to be hard to break down but I think Richards Bay edge it
