Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday 11th February where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

This is a competitive Open Maiden and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is KLEIN KAROO from the Ricky Maingard stable. He stayed on when second over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. His penultimate run when fifth against winners catches the eye. The drop to 1250m should not pose a concern. Andrew Fortune is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

RED WAVE has some good recent form lines to his name. He lacked extra late over this C&D last time. The son of Erik The Red has cracked a good draw of four and is one of the leading contenders.

HILTON HEADS finished 0.4 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 2

STELLAR GUIDANCE produced an encouraging debut effort over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. She understandably raced green, but stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that Wyze Declaration has come out and won again since. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

PITERAQ has fair form lines to her name. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last outing has come out and won since. She will strip much fitter and should pose a threat.

WINTER IN AUCKLAND finished 0.8 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 3

WHO IS SHE has shown good improvement in each of her races to date. She raced from a handy position over 1600m last time before getting outrun late. The daughter of Hawwaam steps up to 1800m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she can shed her maiden tag.

LOUI‘S STAR finished 0.75 lengths behind HOMING PIGEON last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

HOMING PIGEON has good recent form lines to her credit. She moved up like a winner last time before getting caught late by Lark’s Song. The blinkers seem to have done the trick and she merits obvious consideration.

Race 4

PHANTOM MAN was touched off in his last start over 2000m on this course. He set the pace, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Waloyo Yamoni. The son of Global View should have no issues with the drop to 1800m. He is likely to get his own way in front again and may be hard to peg back.

FREQUENT TRAVELLER has finished second in his last two starts with the blinkers fitted. He may be ideally suited to this distance. The son of Querari is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

FORT LIAM finished 2.25 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

Race 5

TWILIGHT WARRIOR dead-heated when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He was switched for running room at the 250m mark and finished strongly. The son of Ideal World is in a good space and from pole position, he can follow up with another victory.

NOBLE HERO finished 1.65 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

KONNICHIWA followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. The son of Danon Platina should produce another honest effort.

Race 6

BEAUTIFUL SIDE has finished third in her last three starts. She took the lead at the 1200m mark last time and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Vercingetorix takes a drop in class. She has cracked a good draw of three and can notch up her second-career victory.

DOUBLE DASH ran a creditable race when fourth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She should give the males a run for their money.

GOLD INDEX finished 1.9 lengths behind MIDWAY last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 7

LA PULGA is the top bet on the programme. He ran a fair race in the Grade 2 Anthonij Rupert Premier Trophy last time. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 2000m. He takes a drop in class and with Aldo Domeyer back in the saddle, he should take a power of beating.

SONG TO THE MOON finished 0.05 lengths behind TENPENNY last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

TENPENNY has good consistent form lines to his credit. He got up where it matters most to win his last start over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The son of What A Winter always gives of his best and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

WINTER PEARL was running on when third over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He has won twice, finished second once and third twice from nine starts on this course. The 7yo gelding takes a drop in class and Craig Zackey may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

SOOTY was touched off in his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. His record on this course is a slight concern, but Richard Fourie retains the ride and he cannot be discounted.

DAWN‘S EARLY LIGHT finished 0.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish
