Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday 27th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

INTRO has consistent form lines to her credit. She moved up well over this C&D last time before getting caught late by Kagura. The daughter of Bezrin takes on males but she receives her sex allowance. She jumps from a handy draw of five and may be the one to side with.

CHEERSCHEERSCHEERS is better than his last start over 1600m on the turf. His penultimate run when third over 1800m was encouraging. Sean Veale may take him forward from the wide draw and if all goes according to plan, he should be involved at the finish.

GIMMETHEGOLD has shown signs of needing his first two career runs. The son of Gimmethegreenlight steps up to 2000m and the blinkers are fitted. He has scope and from pole position, would not be a shock winner.

Race 2

KANAAL SKATER ran on powerfully when winning his last start over this trip. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The son of One World meets a similar line-up and jumps from pole position. He will be doing his best work late and can follow up with another victory.

RUN TO RIO‘S last three starts have been good. He tried hard when second behind El Rey Viene last time. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

RAGNAR THE KING ran on from last when second over 1750m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. If not too far out of his ground turning for home, he should be competitive.

Race 3

GRAND OCCASION won a game race over this distance on the turf last time. She set the pace and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. The daughter of Danon Platina received a three-pound penalty for that victory. Nicholas Patel retains the ride, and the combination can follow up with another victory.

POURSOMESUGARONME stayed on after a slow start over 1400m on this course last time. She finished 1.1 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate outing. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

ONE PATH was finishing strongly when second over 1400m on this course, last week Wednesday. She won her only attempt over this C&D. If this outing has not come too soon, she should be right there at the finish.

Race 4

MAC HARDY ran on strongly when winning his last start over this C&D. He was reported to be coughing that day. The son of Vercingetorix received a four-pound penalty for that victory. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

GORGEOUS DUDE was his own worst enemy last time as he over raced in the early stages. However, he stayed on to finish fourth. He has won twice, finished second once and third three times from nine starts over this distance. From pole position, he is one of the leading contenders.

LOU LOU THE LEGEND‘S last three starts have been fair. He will enjoy the return to the polytrack and will be doing his best work at the finish.

Race 5

ULTRA QUICK raced from a handy position over this C&D last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Mac Hardy. He carries another big mass of 63kgs, but is in a good space and can go one better.

COUNT MARSH should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 350m. It must be noted that United Nation has come out and won again since. If keeping on a straight line, he should pose a massive threat.

LEXICAN POINT finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights which is not enough for the tables to be turned. It is encouraging that Callan Murray retains the ride, and he is capable of finishing in the placings.

Race 6

JEANNE DARC has shown some signs of returning to best form in her last two starts. She stayed on when fourth over this distance on the turf last time. The daughter of William Longsword should get a good run in transit from pole position. It is encouraging that Sean Veale steps back into the saddle and she can return to winning ways.

LIMITLESS SKY took her place in the Grade 1 Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes last time. She returns from a 13-week break and makes her seasonal debut. She is the best-weighted runner in this contest and if not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself.

SOVEREIGN GRANT cost herself winning last time as she hung outwards in the closing stages. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. Tristan Godden steps back into the saddle and she cannot be discounted.

Race 7

BANK STREET finished 0.9 lengths behind MVELELO last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He carries a handy galloping mass of 53kgs and from his good draw of three, he may be the one to side with.

MVELELO took the lead at the 200m mark last time and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The son of What A Winter is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RAFA’S BOY‘S last two starts have been fair. It is encouraging that S’manga Khumalo steps back into the saddle as the combination won with ease on 30 April 2025. On best form shown, he may be hard to peg back.

Race 8

LITTLEBLACKGEM showed good improvement when second in her first run for the Gareth van Zyl stable. She was settled at the rear of the field and ran on strongly. The daughter of New Predator would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She has cracked a good draw of four and may be the one to side with.

POETIC PRINCESS never got into the race last time after receiving a bump leaving the start. The daughter of What A Winter takes a drop in class and if bringing some of her better Cape Town form, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

DAWN SURPRISE held on where it matters most to win her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She is back against her own sex but the wide draw is an obvious concern. With luck in running, she is capable of following up with another victory
