GREEN TICKET has produced two encouraging runs to date. He lost a length leaving the start last time, but stayed on nicely to finish fourth. The son of Admiral Kitten is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1200m. If jumping on terms, he may be the one to beat.
BEST OF ALL produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D. The son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement expected, he should pose a threat.
WINTER BLESSING is a filly taking on the males. She should have finished closer to the winner over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She is having her peak run and with just 53.5kgs on her back, she should be competitive.
Race 3
BLUE STEEL set the pace over 1500m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time before getting outrun late by In Motion. The son of Erik The Red is having his first run in KwaZulu-Natal. Andrew Fortune is booked to ride and if settled into his new surroundings, he may be hard to peg back.
EASTERN HIGHLANDS did not go on with the effort over 1200m last time. He steps up to 1400m and jumps from a good draw of four. He is likely to race from a prominent position and is one of the leading contenders.
DUBAI DUDE showed improvement when second over this C&D last time. The son of Declarationofpeace is a progressive type and from his good draw of three, he may have more to come.

This is a weak Maiden Plate and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is DAY TWO from the Gareth van Zyl stable. He did not get the best start last time and stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Twice Over should love the rise to 2400m and if jumping on terms, he can shed his maiden tag.
WINDOW TO MY SOUL was a tad disappointing over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of One World should have no issues with the rise to 2400m. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
DEAD POETS SOCIETY received a bump leaving the start last time and stayed on to finish third. He finished 1.7 lengths behind the second choice in his penultimate run. He is 1kg better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.
