Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday 2nd September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

IN THE AIR TONIGHT showed good improvement when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He raced on the speed before getting outrun late by Bolero. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Eduan Muller retains the ride and if confirming his recent improvement, he may be hard to peg back.

WORKINGCLASSHERO finished 2.25 lengths behind the top selection on debut. The son of Elusive Fort would have gained from the experience. He is drawn widest of all, but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

NADIA NERINA ran a fair race on debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. She lost two lengths leaving the start, raced green but stayed on at the finish. She returns from a 20-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the outing, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 2

WINTER BLOSSOM produced a promising debut effort when second over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. She should have finished closer to the winner as she hung outwards in the final 100m. The daughter of Soqrat would have gained from the experience and if not too green around the turn, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

SABRE WING finished 0.1 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

MOSAIC WORLD was squeezed leaving the start in the Listed Amusnet Devon Air Stakes last time and never got into the race. She returns from a 13-week break and may be at her best over further. If not in need of the run, she can finish in the placings.

Race 3

MISS ARIZONA is the top bet on the programme. She showed massive improvement when second over this C&D last time. She moved up well and tried hard all the way to the line. The daughter of Danon Platina is a progressive type and Gavin Lerena steps into the saddle. In this type of field, she should take a power of beating.

LOVE HER MADLY is still a maiden after 15 efforts. She was running on when third over this C&D last time. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

JACK DANDY was a tad disappointing last time. She returns from a 10-week break which may have done her the world of good. The daughter of Flower Alley showed some promise on debut. She has plenty of scope and if fit, she can finish in the placings.

Race 4

WREATH OF SNOW was in need of his debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The well-bred son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and will love the rise to 1400m. The booking of Gavin Lerena is a big plus. He jumps from a good draw of four and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

RED HOT RIFLE ran on strongly when third on debut over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He would have come on from the run and Aldo Domeyer steps into the saddle. The son of Erik The Red should get a good run in transit from pole position and can go close.

TIME OF OUR LIVES finished 0.3 lengths ahead of the second selection on debut. The concern is the widest draw but with luck in running, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 5

CALIFORNIA CAT produced a promising debut effort over 1250m on this course. He challenged strongly all the way to the line, but found one too good in the form of Mordechai. The son of Futura would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. From his good draw of two and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

BIG CITY ROLLER was running on too late when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. The son of Rafeef will be at home over the extra distance on offer. With the natural progression that is expected, he should pose a massive threat.

GODRIC GRYFFINDOR has fair form to his name. It must be noted that Aquae Calidae has come out and won again since. The gelding may have done the trick and the blinkers will keep his mind on the task at hand. If not in need of the outing, he would not be a shock winner.

Race 6

This is a competitive Class 4 contest and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is CORK BAY from the Andre Nel stable. He has good recent form to his name. He showed speed over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time and stayed on to finish third. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. He jumps from a good draw of four and may be hard to peg back.

ESCARPMENT hails from the in-form Piet Botha stable. He ran a fair race when fifth over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He gets the services of Varun Jodhee who takes the 4kgs off his back. In this type of field, he can cause a surprise.

MARSEILLES should have finished closer to the winner last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. With luck in running, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 7

PUSHING LIMITS ran on strongly when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. The 6yo mare clearly has her issues as she returns from another 16-week break. She does race well fresh and the booking of Muzi Yeni is a big plus. There looks to be a lot of speed in the race which will suit her. She will be running on and if fit, she can notch up her fourth-career victory.

AXIS POWER is having his first outing for the Ashley Fortune stable. It must be noted that Blazing Fury has come out and won again since. Aldo Domeyer rides and if fit, he should be hard to peg back.

PEACE OF MIND found one too good in the form of Easy Money last time. She won her penultimate outing over this C&D. The daughter of Var is a solid back-up for the Ashley Fortune stable.

RACE 8

CHINWAG was a beaten odds-on favourite over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. She raced from a handy position, fought hard but was touched off by Golden Shimmer. She finished third in the Listed Irridescence Stakes on this course in her penultimate outing. She is drawn in pole position and can shed her maiden tag.

FUTURE RUNWAY showed improvement when third over 1200m last time. The daughter of Futura will love the rise to 1600m. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus and she should have more to come.

LIMERANCE showed some improvement when third over 1400m last time. The daughter of One World steps up to the mile and if Richard Fourie can switch her off early, she should feature
