Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 10th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

OLAF THE STOUT has finished second in both his efforts to date. He was green in running last time and took an awkward stride at the 100m mark. Unless one of the first timers have ability, he should take a power of beating.

FYFIELD LEGEND is better than his last start over this C&D, against winners. He finished second in his previous two efforts over 1000m. Calvin Habib is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

RED BIRCH is an unraced daughter of Erik The Red from the Dean Smith stable with Craig Zackey in the saddle. She is related to multiple winners. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

RACE 2

MALIBU ICE produced a promising debut in soft conditions over 1200m on this course. She moved up well that day, but found one too good in the form of Obsidian Star. The daughter of Malmoos would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

RUNGSTEDLAND showed pace in the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery last time, but found one too good in the form of Marchland. The daughter of Canford Cliffs should have no issues with the rise to 1400m. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

ROCK ME MAMA finished 1.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and she may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 3

GALACTIC BEAUTY finished 0.75 lengths behind DELAROCHE last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. She is a progressive type and with luck in running, she can shed her maiden tag.

DELAROCHE ran a decent race when fourth in her local debut over 1300m on the polytrack. She set the pace and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Vercingetorix gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand.

STONE OF SCONE lost two lengths leaving the start last time, but finished off her race well. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If getting away on terms, she should be competitive.

RACE 4

ANOTHERDANCEFORME is the top bet on the programme. She was super-impressive when winning the Listed Bryanston Auctioneers East Cape Guineas last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate should have no issues with the rise to 2000m. She is a class above the rest of this field and should take a power of beating.

EAST COAST GIRL is better than her last start in the Non-Black Type Lady’s Bracelet as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. She returns from a 12-week break which would have done her the world of good. The daughter of Querari may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

AUGUSTA ROSSO finished 5.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 5

HOLLANDIA BAKKERIJ finished 3.05 lengths behind FLASH LIGHTNING last time. He is 6kgs better off at the weights today which is enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Erupt jumps from pole position and can return to winning ways.

GOLDEN GREY finished 3.3 lengths behind FLASH LIGHTNING in the race referred to above. He is 6.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around. The son of Danon Platina is one of the leading contenders.

FLASH LIGHTNING caused an upset when winning his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and cannot be discounted.

Race 6

SILVAN MISTRESS won a good race over 1800m in the Oaks Plate last time. She moved up well and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. The daughter of Master Of My Fate should have no issues with the rise to 2000m. She is the best-weighted runner in this contest and should take a power of beating.

WILD FIG finished 0.5 lengths behind ABOVE THE HORIZON last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Fire Away is a solid back-up for the Alan Greeff stable.

ABOVE THE HORIZON ran a good race when third over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Horizon is honest and should produce another good effort.

RACE 7

CRUISE CONTROL was caught late when second over 1200m on the polytrack last time. He returns from a 16-week break. The son of Querari has won four times and finished third once from six starts over this C&D. He is likely to race on the speed and if not in need of the outing, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

ROMAN AGENT fought hard when second in the Listed East Cape Sprint Cup last time. He finished 0.1 lengths behind the top choice, four runs ago. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

JOKER MAN finished 4.5 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 8

WHATEVER NEXT was doing his best work late when fifth over this C&D last time. The 7yo gelding has dropped to a competitive rating. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Wilmien Fourie would have learnt a lot from his last run and if not too far out of their ground, he can notch up his eighth-career victory.

TEEREX won a good race over this C&D last time. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RHYTHM was running on when third over this C&D last time. Apprentice Nirvan Nastili takes the 1.5kgs off his back. The son of Rafeef will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 9

CORAL CREEK’S last three starts on this course have been good. He finished 1.25 lengths behind PEDRO in his penultimate outing. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. If not too far out of his ground, he can return to winning ways.

BURNING MAN was running on when third over 2000m on the polytrack last time. He drops to 1600m and the blinkers should sharpen him up. He has cracked a good draw of four and is one of the leading contenders.

THUNDER MASTER finished third over 2000m on this course, last week Friday. Three of his six career victories have come over this distance. He always gives of his best and merits healthy respect
