Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday 11th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

ASGARDIAN QUEEN made the expected natural improvement when fifth over this C&D last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She is a progressive type and from pole position, she may be the one to side with.

SMART CHOICE is better than her last start over 1200m. Her penultimate run when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville catches the eye. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

NO DRAMA hails from the visiting Paul Matchett stable. She has run three fair races to date. It must be noted that Secretary Bird has come out and won again since. If all went well with her travels, she should have a say.

Race 2

PRESSURE POINT received a bump leaving the start last time and was doing his best work at the finish. He gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He should get a good run in transit from pole position and can shed his maiden tag.

BOURBON’S BEAST finished 3 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

TAKETHEGREENLIGHT’S last two starts have been fair. He is a progressive type and is having his first run in KwaZulu-Natal. With luck in running, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 3

AQUARIUS ran a good race when third over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course last time. She won her only attempt over this distance. She should be ideally suited to this course and if all went well with her travels, she can go close.

RABBLE ROUSER showed speed when winning on debut over 1160m at Turffontein. The daughter of Rafeef takes on stronger, but she could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

SHESHA NTOMBI showed good improvement when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. If confirming her recent improvement, she can finish in the placings.

Race 4

TULIP FIELDS produced an encouraging comeback run over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She stayed on at the finish but found one too good in the form of Miss World. The daughter of Vercingetorix would have come on from the outing and will strip much fitter. She jumps from pole position and may be the one to beat.

THAT’S MY BABY was running on when fourth over this distance at Turffontein last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She is drawn widest but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

AMELIA’S LEGACY ran a cracker when second in the Listed Flamboyant Stakes last time. She returns from a 15-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the run, she can feature.

Race 5

QUESTIONING is the top bet on the programme. He was an impressive winner of the Grade 2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes last time. He hit the front at the 300m mark and won with a ton in hand. The son of Querari is a class above this field and should take a power of beating.

THISISWHATITMEANS finished 1.6 lengths behind GOOD TRAVELLER last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today. The son of What A Winter will strip much fitter and he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

GOOD TRAVELLER is a winner of his last three starts, the latest of which was over this distance on the polytrack. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 6

This is a competitive Race Coast Sales Slipper and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is TURN IT UP from the Sean Tarry stable. He was an impressive winner in his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1160m at Turffontein. The son of Querari looks to have class about him and the booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus. With luck in running, he can notch up the hat-trick.

WORLD ATTRACTION is unbeaten from two starts to date. He was an impressive winner in the Listed TAB Storm Bird Stakes last time. The obvious concern is the wide draw, but with luck in running, he can remain unbeaten.

SECRETARY BIRD was an easy winner in the Listed Wilgerbosdrift Ruffian Stakes last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She is in a good space and should give the males a run for their money.

Race 7

VAPOUR TRAIL is much better than his last start in the Grade 1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas. He returns from a 17-week break, during which time he was gelded. The son of Erik The Red was an impressive winner of the Grade 3 Cape Classic in his penultimate outing. He is at his best over this distance and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he can return to winning ways.

MALMESBURY MISSILE won a good race in the Grade 3 Byerley Turk last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

TALK TO THE MASTER has had the perfect preparation for this race. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this distance. Craig Zackey retains the ride and from barrier two, he can notch up the hat-trick.

Race 8

FOSTINOVO has good consistent form lines to his credit. He set the pace over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Paul Revere. The 6yo gelding should be ideally suited to this course. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

GRAND APPEAL was running on when second over this C&D last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field once again and with luck in running, he should pose a threat.

WINTER WAVES has not finished too far off the winner in his last two starts. Four of his nine career victories have come over this distance. Apprentice Divesh Ramkhalawon takes the 4kgs off his back and from pole position, he can go close.

Race 9

PHUTULICIOUS has good consistent form lines to his credit. He went a fast pace over 1400m last time and hung outwards in the final 200m, which may have cost him the victory. He has won over this C&D previously. The son of Fire Away should get a good run in transit from pole position and can notch up his fourth-career victory.

SUN DAZED has consistent form lines to his name. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The 7yo gelding will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.

DEFINITELY YES has good recent form lines to his name. He should have finished closer last time as he hung inwards in the final 300m. With a bit of luck in running, he can earn another cheque for his patrons
