Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 15th May where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

SAY A PRAYER produced a creditable debut effort over 1200m on the turf. The daughter of Real Gone Kid showed signs of needing the outing and she would have gained from the experience. The drop to 1000m may suit her well and if taking to the polytrack, she may be the one to beat.

RIVER VIEW is an unraced daughter of Visionaire from the Alan Greeff stable with Craig Zackey in the saddle. She is related to two-time winner No Laying Up. If not in need of the outing, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her and the other unraced entrants.

CARNIVAL is a daughter of Real Gone Kid from the Dean Smith yard and Gareth Wright is booked to ride. She is related to two-time winner Special Variety. If not too green in running, she should give a good account of herself.

RACE 2

RULES OF CONDUCT was a beaten odds-on favourite over 1200m on this course last time. He was his own worst enemy that day as he over raced in the early stages. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody is a progressive type. If Richard Fourie is able to switch him off early, he can shed his maiden tag in this field.

PROFUMO finished 5.25 lengths behind the top choice on debut. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today. The son of Legislate would have gained from the experience and should make the natural progression.

GLOBAL THRILLER finished 3.75 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may battle to turn the form around.

RACE 3

OSMIUM finished 0.5 lengths behind SATELLITE WORLD last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Chase Maujean retains the ride and if confirming his recent improvement, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

GREY WARRIOR finished 2.35 lengths behind SATELLITE WORLD in the race referred to above. He is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

SATELLITE WORLD stayed on strongly when third over this C&D last time. He jumps from a good draw of two and Yuzae Ramzan may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

RACE 4

PAST AND PRESENT returns from a short nine-week break and is having his first outing for Cliffie Miller. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will enjoy the step up to 1900m. If settled into his new surroundings, he may be the one to side with.

DEANDRE’S DREAM is having his first run for the Dean Smith stable. It must be noted that Basie Raakvat has come out and won again since. He has dropped to a competitive rating and if settled into his new surroundings, he should have good improvement to come.

A BIT CHILLY stayed on when fourth over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. With luck in running, he can earn another cheque for his patrons.

RACE 5

KEY WORKER ran a creditable race when 1.05 lengths behind EPIKLEROS last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight has won over this distance previously. She should get a good run in transit from barrier two and can notch up her fourth-career victory.

FAMILY POWER fought hard for her last victory over 1400m on the turf. She has won once and finished second twice from four starts on this course. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

EPIKLEROS kept finding to win her last start over 2000m on this course. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 6

DUPONT EMERALD moved up well over 1400m on the turf last time, but found one too good in the form of La Landonne who has come out and won again since. The daughter of Querari receives her sex allowance and with luck in running, she can go one better.

HONORINE’S GIMMIE followed up his maiden victory with a good fourth-place finish over 1200m on this course. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is one of the leading contenders.

STRANGE MAGIC kept finding to win her last start over 1000m on this course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She is in a good space and must be considered.

RACE 7

BLACK EGRET was not disgraced when fifth behind Mercantour last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Rafeef takes on weaker today and from pole position, he can return to winning ways.

CHAMPONELLE returns from a 12-week break which would have done him the world of good. All four of his career victories have come on this course. With luck in running, he should be competitive.

PRINCESS HANNAH finished 3.3 lengths behind TINTAMARRE last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today. The daughter of Pomodoro is having her peak run and she should give the males a run for their money.

RACE 8

AYUWI YUWI was given a peach of a ride when winning her stable debut over this distance on the turf. Her record on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack poses a concern as she may at her best on the turf. However, she is in a good space and from barrier two, she can follow up with another victory.

MIDNIGHT MUSIC is better than her last start over 1400m on this course. She won her penultimate outing over this C&D. If putting her best foot forward, she should pose a threat.

GENOVEFA fought back well when winning her last start over 1300m on this course. She finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate outing. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result
