Winning Form selections for all of races from @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday 23rd October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

LADY NANCY is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Allan Robertson Championship. She returns from a 22-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. Her form prior to that outing was good. She is back in Maiden Company and if taking to the polytrack, she may be the one to beat.

WILLOW VALLI has good recent form to her name. It must be noted that multiple horses from her last form line have come out and won since. She finished second over this C&D in her penultimate run. Keagan de Melo rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

MIDNIGHT HOUR stayed on when fourth over 1000m on this course last time. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she should be involved at the finish.

Race 2

ROXBURY PARK has finished second in both his efforts to date. He lost a length leaving the start over 1200m on the turf last time, but finished off his race strongly. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1400m. He is a progressive type and if getting away on terms, he can shed his maiden tag.

VESSEL OF LIGHT showed improvement when fifth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If settled into his new surroundings, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

DONMAGOO is still a maiden after 17 starts. He raced from a handy position over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Royale Jacket. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Anaas Mosaheb retains the ride, and he can finish in the placings.

Race 3

REMUNERATION is the top bet on the programme. She ran a good race when third in her local debut over this distance on the turf. The daughter of Rafeef has cracked a handy draw of five and meets the right field. With the services of Keagan de Melo, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

SPOT ME IN THE SKY showed good improvement when second over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She stayed on at the finish but found one too good in the form of Periwinkle. The daughter of Summa Cum Laude should enjoy the rise to 1600m and will strip much fitter. From her good draw of three, she should pose a threat.

LINGUISTIC finished 2.45 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms this evening and she may have to settle for the same result.

Race 4

J LORDI was touched off in his last start over this C&D. He raced on the speed and may have cost himself winning as he hung inwards in the closing stages. Jockey Kabelo Matsunyane is likely to adopt the same tactics from pole position and the combination may be hard to peg back.

BELLIGERENT ran a creditable race in her comeback run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She will strip a much fitter horse and is one of the leading contenders.

QUERARISTINYFERARI should have finished closer last time as she hung outwards in the final 300m. The daughter of Querari would have come on from her stable debut and should strip much fitter. She can earn another cheque for her patrons.

Race 5

CHARA SANDS finished 0.8 lengths behind B FIFTYTWO last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights tonight and that should be enough to turn the form around. Six of his nine career victories have come over this C&D. He should get a good run in transit from pole position and may be the one to beat. MOJO MAN was outrun late when second over this distance on the turf last time. He finished 0.3 lengths behind B FIFTYTWO in his penultimate effort. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights this evening and should turn the tables. B FIFTYTWO is a winner of his last three starts for the Kumaran Naidoo stable. It must be noted that the form of his last victory has been franked. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 6

MOHANDAS ran a fair race when fifth over this C&D last time. He had to overcome a wide draw and stayed on at the business end. The 7yo gelding takes a drop back in class and on best form shown, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.

PRAISE DE LA REY is better than her last start over this C&D. She runs well for Jockey Nicholas Patel. From her good draw of three, she should give the males a run for their money.

TWOCANTANGO has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will be suited to this distance. Calvin Habib is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

Race 7

CHARLIE BUCKET has won his last two starts in KwaZulu-Natal with ease. He set the pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and found more. The son of One World returns from a 12-week break. If taking to the polytrack, he can notch up the hat-trick.

PIED PIPER stayed on strongly when third over 2000m on this course last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts over this C&D. He should get a good run in transit from Barrier Two and is one of the leading contenders.

GOLDEN GEM caught the eye when winning on debut over 1400m on this course. He lost a length leaving the start but finished off his race strongly. The son of Act Of War takes on stronger, but he could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

Race 8

KAAPSE KLOPSE has good recent form to his name. He raced from a handy position last time, moved up before getting caught late by subsequent winner Navajo Dancer. He has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Anaas Mosaheb takes the 2.5kgs off his back and from pole position, he can return to winning ways.

MONT LOISIR set the pace over 1400m last time before getting caught late. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from eight starts over this distance. He is likely to race on the pace once again and may be hard to peg back.

STAGE ONE ran a good race when second over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He is in a good space and if taking to this surface, he should be competitive.
