Race 1
KAZENOYONI caught the eye when winning on debut over 1200m. He lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but the manner in which he finished off his race was impressive. The son of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. He could be anything and can remain unbeaten.
GREEN ENERGY made the expected natural improvement when winning his last start over 1000m. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should pose a massive threat.
GREEK HERITAGE produced an encouraging debut effort over 1200m. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish suggests that she will love the rise to 1400m. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should give the males a run for their money.
Race 2
ROYAL CREST lacked extra late when fifth over 1200m last time. Her penultimate run when second over this C&D was encouraging. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Damyan Pillay steps back into the saddle. She takes on older rivals but may be the one to beat.
WINTER BLESSING is still a maiden after 13 starts but has consistent form lines to her credit. She should have finished closer to the winner last time as the saddle slipped in running. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
DANCING PARTY is an unraced daughter of Chimichuri Run from the Gareth van Zyl stable with Mxolisi Mbuto in the saddle. She is related to five-time winner Linear. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her and the other unraced entrants.
Race 3
QUEST OF VALOR made the expected natural improvement when second over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The son of Visionaire is a progressive type and with Callan Murray in the saddle, he can go one better.
MASTERCRAFTER was in need of his debut effort over this C&D. The son of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and should make the natural improvement.
BANGLADESH caught the eye on debut over this distance on the polytrack. He returns from a lengthy 45-week break and if not in need of the run, he should have a say.
Race 4
GREENLIGHT QUEEN finished 1.4 lengths behind LILAC IN WINTER last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around.
LILAC IN WINTER ran on from last when winning her last outing over this C&D. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
WEST SIDE STORY showed some signs of a form return when fifth over 1600m on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate takes a drop in class and may have more to come.
Race 5
TOUCHED BY ANGELS ran a good race when second over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He raced from a handy position, moved up before getting caught late by Chasingtherainbow. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this distance. If taking to this course, he should take a power of beating.
DYLAN’S CHAMP is the stable companion of the top choice. He was far from disgraced when fifth in the Non-Black Type Fever Tree Stakes last time. It must be noted that Talk To The Master has come out and won again since. He should get a good run in transit from pole position and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
FORWARD MOTION tried hard when third in the Listed Flamboyant Stakes last time. She has won twice and finished second three times from eight starts on this course. Calvin Habib is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome the widest draw and she may be hard to peg back.
Race 6
AXIS POWER received a bump leaving the start last time, but showed pace and tried hard all the way to the line. The son of Flower Alley takes a rise in class but he is in a good space, and can return to winning ways.
CAVALRY COMMANDER ran a good race when second in his stable debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Calvin Habib retains the ride and he is one of the leading contenders.
COWBOY COUNTRY is better than his last start as he was steadied leaving the gates and never got into the race. The son of The United States is fitted with blinkers which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If putting his best foot forward, he would not be a surprise winner.
Race 7
DONQUERARI is better than his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He finished 3.6 lengths behind CIRCUMBENDIBUS in his penultimate outing. He is 6kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He takes another drop in the ratings and on best form shown, he can return to winning ways.
CIRCUMBENDIBUS was an easy winner of his last start over this C&D. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
POSITION OF POWER ran on powerfully when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He takes on stronger, but may be ahead of the handicapper and should be up to the task at hand.
Race 8
STAR OF THE FUTURE produced a typical second run after a rest last time. His penultimate run when fourth over 1500m on this course was encouraging. The son of Futura takes on weaker and if seeing out the 2400m, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
OUR LADY FATE ran a creditable race when fourth over 1900m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. She finished third in her only C&D attempt. She has no stamina issues and should pose a massive threat.
BASIE RAAKVAT finished second last time but was demoted to third for causing interference. On best form shown, he would not be a shock winner. He is carded to race on 03 April 2026 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.
Race 9
GALLIC VICTOR stayed on when third over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. The son of Vercingetorix won on debut over 1400m on this course. He should enjoy the rise to the mile and he may be the one to beat.
NEXT OF KIN ran a good race when third over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. If switching off early, he should pose a threat.
SERPENTINE FIRE was running on when fourth over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. If not too far out of his ground turning for home, he can fight out the finish
