Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Monday 27th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

GODRIC GRYFFINDOR made the expected natural improvement when third over 1000m on this course last time. He raced from just off the pace, moved up before getting caught late. The son of Time Thief returns from a 15-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. If not in need of the run, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

THE CULLINAN produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. He took time to find his feet, but finished off his race well. The son of Legislate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should pose a threat.

ANOTHER HERO was in need of his debut effort over 1000m on this course. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and should love the rise to 1200m. He should make the natural improvement.

Race 2

VERCICAT was running on when second over this C&D last time. That was his first outing as a gelding. The son of Vercingetorix would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He has plenty of scope and can go one better.

LAVA STRIKE is better than his last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and he can show good improvement.

EUGENIUS has not finished too far off the winner in his last two starts after the gelding. He is having his peak run today and with the blinkers re-fitted, he should be the first older horse past the post. L

Race 3

PAY THE PALACE should have finished closer to the winner in the Grade 3 Variety Club Mile last time as he was held up for a run in the closing stages. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie is booked to ride. He is a horse with ability and with luck in running, he may be the one to beat.

MAJOR MASTER stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

KATSU stayed on when second over 1800m on this course last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third twice from eight starts over this distance. From pole position, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 4

BIG DEAL has some good recent form to his name. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 1600m. The son of The United States should get a good run in transit from pole position and may be the one to side with.

ZAGREB finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

SPANISH VERSE tried hard when second over 1800m on this course last time. The son of Vercingetorix drops to 1600m and the blinkers should keep his mind on the task at hand. He is in a good space and should be involved at the finish

Race 5

SPIRIT OF NICAL stayed on when third over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Vercingetorix is drawn widest, but Callan Murray is booked to ride and he should give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

REDLIGHT LANE finished 0.4 lengths behind MON PAPILLON last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

MON PAPILLON showed improvement in her first run for the Paul Reeves stable. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Master Of My Fate steps up to 1500m and she may have more to come.

Race 6

FORT YUKON followed up his maiden victory with an encouraging fifth-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He finished 1 length behind CEDARPOINT, three runs ago. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Calvin Habib steps back into the saddle and from his good draw of two, he may be hard to peg back.

CEDAR POINT ran a good race when third in his post maiden effort. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. He is having his peak run and is one of the leading contenders.

DEVIL A SAINT finished 1.75 lengths behind KLEIN KAROO last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around.

Race 7

DEMANDING DAVE was not beaten far by DANCE VARIETY last time. The son of Horizon was victorious in his three previous efforts under Andrew Fortune. He carries a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs and can return to winning ways.

DANCE VARIETY was given a peach of a ride when winning the Non-Black Type Easter Sprint last time. He received a two-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

SARDINIA BAY finished 0.3 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

Race 8

SCOTTISH KISS is better than his last start as he was reported to be coughing. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Two of his four career victories have come over this C&D. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Varun Jodhee which will assist his cause. If putting his best foot forward, he can return to winning ways.

SHESGOTCLASS has good consistent form lines to her name. She has won twice, finished second three times and third three times from ten starts over this C&D. She always gives of her best and should give the males a run for their money.

GIVE IT LALDY finished 1.75 lengths behind OBJET D’ ART last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 9

CLAIR DE LUNE raced from just off the pace over 1100m last time, but found one too good in the form of Whirlwind. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Varun Jodhee retains the ride. She meets a similar line-up and if all goes according to plan, she can go one better.

HAMPSTEAD HEATH finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. GIRL LIKE US finished 1.25 lengths behind

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT last time. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned
