THE BRONX BULL ran a good race when second in the Grade 2 TAB SA Nursery last time. He tried hard but found one too good in the form of Better Never Ends. He has class about him and should be competitive.
Race 4
GOOD DAY SUNSHINE won a good race in the Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Nursery last time. Despite getting away to an awkward start, she fought hard to hold Griselda at bay. The daughter of Vercingetorix has class about her and can remain unbeaten.
GET UP challenged strongly when 0.9 lengths behind the top choice last time. She was super-impressive when winning on debut over 1160m on this course. The daughter of What A Winter is one of the leading contenders.
LANZAROTE was an easy winner when shedding her maiden tag over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course last time. She was not disgraced when third in the Listed Wilgerbosdrift Ruffian Stakes in her penultimate effort. The daughter of Erupt is a progressive type and would not be a surprise winner.
Race 5
ENFLAME was an easy winner in the Listed Wilgerbosdrift Caradoc Gold Cup last time. He ran on well and was geared down at the finish. The son of Irish Flame tries the 3200m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
SHOOT THE RAPIDS was running on when second over 1750m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. His last victory came over this C&D. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and the combination merit healthy respect.
ALADDIN’S LAMP finished 5 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

OLIVIA’S WAY stayed on nicely when third in the Grade 1 HKJC World Pool Premier’s Champions Challenge last time. She has won once, finished second twice and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. Marco van Rensburg retains the ride and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
MINOGUE found one too good in the form of Double Grand Slam in the Grade 1 TAB Empress Club Stakes last time. The daughter of Vercingetorix tries the 2000m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

BUFFALO STORM CODY is the top bet on the programme. He was an impressive winner in the Grade 1 TAB Computaform Sprint last time. He showed a good turn of foot and drew off in the run down to the line. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody is unbeaten from four starts over this C&D. He is the class horse in this contest and should keep that record intact.
WILLIAM ROBERTSON is better than his last start when 4.55 lengths behind the top choice. He has won three times, finished second four times and third once from nine starts over this C&D. He always gives of his best and merits healthy respect.
MOUNT PINATUBO was not disgraced when 3.3 lengths behind the top choice last time. He finished second in his only C&D attempt. With luck in running, he may be the one to cause the surprise.

KAMBATI is a winner of his last three starts, the latest of which was over 1400m. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will be suited to the mile. With a bit of luck in running, he can go close.
