Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday 29th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

ROSKILDE took his chances in the Non-Black Type Race Coast Sales Slipper last time. His penultimate run when second in the Grade 3 Ridgemont Cape Of Good Hope Nursery, catches the eye. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 2.5kgs off his back which will assist his cause. He takes on weaker opposition today and should take a power of beating.

WAR EMPEROR has finished second in his last two starts. He stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time. The son of Act Of War may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

QUARTER MASTER ran a fair race in his comeback run over 1400m last time. The son of The United States should have no issues with the drop to 1200m. He can finish in the placings.

Race 2

ONE PEPPER produced a promising debut effort over 1200m. Despite losing a length leaving the start, he showed pace and stayed on well to finish third. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of One World would have gained from the experience and should enjoy the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

VIBE CHECK’S last two starts over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth have been good. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth in his last start has come out and won since. With luck from the widest draw, he should pose a threat.

BRIGHT BLUE showed improvement when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He is a progressive type and can go close.

Race 3

LADY NANCY lost a length leaving the start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time, was green around the turn and got going late. Her penultimate run when third in the Grade 3 Ridgemont Cape Of Good Hope Nursery, catches the eye. The daughter of Legislate should love the rise to 1400m and from her good draw of two, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

GREEK HERITAGE ran a good race on debut over 1200m. The daughter of Rafeef would have come on from the run and is bred to love the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should pose a threat.

GIMME THE POWER has finished third in her last three starts, the latest of which was against winners. She is back in maiden company and Andrew Fortune may be able to get the best out of her.

Race 4

TOMYRIS challenged strongly in the Non-Black Type WSB Scarlet Lady last time, but found one too good in the form of Rahhabba. She has cracked a good draw of three and a repeat of that outing should see her fight out the finish.

EDUCATOR finished 0.7 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

AMELIA’S LEGACY was carded to race on 11 April 2026 but was withdrawn at the start. Her last effort when second in the Listed Flamboyant Stakes, catches the eye. The daughter of Vercingetorix has class about her and if fit, she should have a say.

Race 5

RADU finished 3.1 lengths behind MISSISSIPPI SPICE last time. She is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. All three of her career victories have come over this distance. On best form shown, she can return to winning ways.

MISSISSIPPI SPICE’S last three starts have been good. She was running on when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She is one of the leading contenders.

SHESHA NTOMBI is the stable companion of the top selection. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts on this course. The daughter of Erupt takes a drop in class and with luck in running, she can cause a surprise.

Race 6

QUERARI DANCER is the top bet on the programme. She was unlucky not to have won the Grade 3 Ridgemont Cape Of Good Hope Nursery last time, as she was held up for a run between the 400m mark and 150m mark. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Querari has class about her and if suited to this course, she should take a power of beating.

LADY GODIVA followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish against the males. She is ideally suited to this distance and may be hard to peg back.

LADY JEAN is better than her last start in the Non-Black Type Race Coast Sales Slipper. She finished 2.5 lengths behind the second choice in her penultimate run. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 7

RICH MAN’S WORLD is unbeaten from two starts over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He showed good speed last time and won with a ton in hand. The son of One World looks to have plenty of class about him. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and he should keep his unbeaten record intact.

MASTER MAGICIAN is also unbeaten in two starts. He showed good speed when winning the Non-Black Type KZN Futurity Plate over 1000m last time. This is his toughest test, but he is above average and may be up to the task at hand.

FLAMETHROWER showed good improvement when winning his last start over 1200m on this course. The son of Master Of My Fate is a progressive type and can finish in the placings.

Race 8

DEFINITELY YES has good consistent form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. He finished 2.45 lengths behind YANNAKIS, three runs ago. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. If keeping on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

YANNAKIS won his last start over this C&D easier than the official margin suggests. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

WINTER WAVES stayed on when fourth over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. He drops back in class and can earn another cheque for his patrons.

Race 9

CARDINAL CHIEF ran on strongly when beaten a short-head over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of Erik The Red takes a drop in class. Rachel Venniker steps back into the saddle and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.

DRICUS is better than his last start as he flyjumped out the gates and never got into the race. The son of Vercingetorix is having his peak run and should be cherry-ripe. If getting away on terms, he should be involved at the finish.

THE MARQUEE was his own worst enemy last time as he over raced in the early stages. The son of William Longsword has scope and if switching off early, he should have a say.

Race 10

SIBERIAN WINTER tried hard when second over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Happy Fortune. The daughter of Rabada finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. She is drawn in pole position and can notch up her fourth-career victory.

ACT OF GRACE was touched off in her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She returns from a 14-week break which would have done her the world of good. She won her only attempt over this C&D and is one of the leading contenders.

WHAT A PASSION raced from a handy position over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time and stayed on to finish third. The daughter of What A Winter should have no issues with the rise to 1400m and she can go close
