Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday 23rd June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

BLACKBIRD has produced two fair efforts to date. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last start has come out and won since. The son of New Predator is a progressive type and if seeing out the extra furlong on offer, he may be the one to beat.

ANOTHER HERO found one too good in the form of Aquae Calidae last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has experience on his side and is one of the leading contenders.

SARATOGA SUNRISE was in need of his debut effort over this C&D. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can contest the finish.

Race 2

Eight of the twelve runners in this contest are first timers and the betting market will be the best guide. CATCH ME has experience on his side. He showed improvement when third over this C&D last time. He lost a length leaving the start and stayed on at the finish. The son of Hawwaam is a progressive type and unless one of the unraced entrants have ability, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

BOLERO is a son of Rafeef from the Candice Bass yard with stable jockey Aldo Domeyer in the saddle. He is related to three-time winner Valetorio. If not too green in running, he should start his career on a positive note.

MERCURY is a son of The United States from the Dean Kannemeyer stable with Craig Zackey doing duty. He is related to seven-time winner Teo Torriatte. If not in need of the experience, he should give a good account of himself.

Race 3

JACK A DANDY produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D. She took time to find her feet, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Flower Alley would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

RED FLAG caught the eye when fourth on debut over 1000m on this course. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1200m. Richard Fourie steps into the saddle and she should pose a threat.

MARY CASSATT ran a good race on debut over this C&D. She returns from a 12-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be involved at the finish.

Race 4

EL COHETE has decent form to her credit. She showed speed over this C&D last time before tiring late. The daughter of Master Of My Fate has experience on her side. Keagan de Melo is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

MISS SMILEY stayed on when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Erupt is in a good space and she merits obvious consideration.

PEACH COBBLER showed good improvement when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. She returns from a 13-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane takes the 2.5kgs off her back and she may have more to come.

Race 5

ZANFAN MORIS produced an eye-catching comeback run over 1200m last time. The son of Vercingetorix would have come on from the run and should love the rise to 1500m. Keagan de Melo rides and in this small field, he should take a power of beating.

SUPERHERO tried hard when second over 1400m on this course last time. The son of Futura would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. He jumps from a good draw of two and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

WATERFRONT finished 1 length behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

Race 6

KATSU has been taking on stronger opposition in recent outings. He has won once, finished second twice and third twice from nine starts over this distance. The 6yo gelding takes a drop in class and gets the services of Mickaelle Michel who takes the 1.5kgs off his back. If all goes according to plan, he can return to winning ways.

ROCKANROLLIN was doing his best work late when third over 1500m last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

CAESAR’S RANSOM was squeezed leaving the start last time, but the manner in which he finished off his race was encouraging. Keagan de Melo rides and if getting away to a clean beginning, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 7

TRIP TO CAMELOT followed up his maiden win with a hard-fought victory over 1600m. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 1950m. He is drawn widest of all, but Craig Zackey knows him well and should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

BALZI ROSSI finished 1.55 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

BACKINTHEFASTLANE was running on when second over 1800m last time. The son of Captain Of All should have no issues with the extra distance on offer. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

SHESGOTCLASS ran a good race when third over 1200m on this course last time. She raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Callan Murray does duty, and she should give the males a run for their money.

OBJET D’ ART finished 0.3 lengths behind GIVE IT LALDY last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

GIVE IT LALDY showed speed and found extra to win his last start over 1200m on this course. Gavin Lerena steps into the saddle and the combination merit healthy respect
