Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Saturday 12th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

ELISA MBALI has improved since relocating to the Highveld. She stayed on when fourth over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She finished third over this C&D, three runs ago. She has cracked a good draw of two and can shed her maiden tag.

DREAMING OF YOUTH was a tad disappointing over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course last time. He finished 1 length behind STEEL PIER in his penultimate outing. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around.

STEEL PIER has finished second in his last two starts under 1.5kgs claiming Apprentice Blaine Marx-Jacobson. He jumps from pole position and cannot be discounted.

Race 2

GUERILLA WARFARE has good recent form to his credit. He raced from a handy position last time, moved up before getting outrun late by Orange County. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The son of New Predator drops in class and with luck in running, he can notch up his third-career victory.

UTSAAH has fair recent form to her name. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the awkward draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

ITSNOWORNEVER was an easy winner of his last start over this distance at the Vaal. He received a six- pound penalty for that victory. With a bit of luck in running, he can follow up.

Race 3

SANDS OF VALHALLA was not disgraced in the Grade 2 World Pool Bet With The Best Umkhomazi Stakes last time. He raced green, but stayed on at the finish. The son of Erik The Red should love the rise to 1600m. He is the best-weighted runner and on his seasonal debut, he may be the one to beat.

GALLIC VICTOR was caught late when third over this distance at the Vaal last time. The son of Vercingetorix is likely to get his own way in front and may be hard to peg back.

TOP FLOOR finished 3.25 lengths behind the second selection in his post maiden effort. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

Race 4

PRESSONREGARDLESS produced good form before given a 14-week break. He finished third in the Grade 3 TAB Jubilee Stakes last time. The son of Lancaster Bomber has won once, finished second once and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. If not in need of the run, he should be too good for this field.

KING HARALD lost a length leaving the start in the Non-Black Type Egoli Mile last time, but stayed on to finish third. The son of Erik The Red would have freshened up during his time off the track. He carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and if fit, he should pose a threat.

KENSAL GREEN is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was over 1600m on this course. She is in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick.

Race 5

GIMME A FIREBALL made the expected natural improvement when victorious over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He showed good speed, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Gimmethegreenlight looks to have class about him and can follow up with another victory.

RIVERA won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over 1160m on the Standside course last time. She finished 1 length behind BISOU BISOU on debut. She is 5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around.

BISOU BISOU ran a cracker when second in the Grade 2 World Pool Bet With Tote Umkhomazi Stakes last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. The son of Querari has ability and merits healthy respect.

Race 6

RECKLESS ABANDON was an impressive winner on debut over this C&D. He showed good speed, found another kick and drew clear of the opposition. The son of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and could be anything. He carries a handy galloping mass of 55kgs and can remain unbeaten.

STATUS SYMBOL is better than his last start in the Grade 2 World Pool Bet With Tote Umkhomazi Stakes. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has ability and on best form shown, he should fight out the finish.

DRIVELIKEAMASTER ran a fair race when fourth over 1400m on the Standside course last time. He has dropped slightly in the ratings. Marco van Rensburg knows him well and he should be the first older horse past the post.

Race 7

THE LAST DUKE is better than his last start in the Listed Betway Spring Spree Stakes as he raced wide around the turn without cover. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this C&D. The son of Duke Of Marmalade has ability and on best form shown, he can notch up his fourth- career victory.

PUMPKIN PIE showed a good turn of foot to win his last start over 1160m on the Standside course. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. The booking of Muzi Yeni is encouraging and he can follow up.

BRIGHT AND BRAZEN ran a good race when third in the Non-Black Type Betway The Lady’s Stakes last time. She has won three times, finished second once and third once from six starts over this C&D. She will strip much fitter and should give the males a run for their money.

Race 8

HOT CHOICE made the expected natural improvement when winning her maiden over 1400m on the Standside course. She moved up well and drew clear in the closing stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Futura takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

JACK‘S LEGACY followed up her maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1200m on this course. The daughter of Buffalo Bill Cody is one of the leading contenders.

ZIP CODE found extra to win his last start over this C&D. He received a three- pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and with luck from the widest draw, he can go close
