Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Tuesday 21st July where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
Race 1
QUEEN LEILA is the top bet on the programme. She ran a good race when second over 1400m on this course last time. She raced from a handy position before getting caught late by Within Reach. The daughter of Heavenly Blue has class about her and should have no issues with the drop back to 1100m. Philasande Mxoli knows her well and she can notch up her third-career victory.
APPARITION showed a good turn of foot when winning on debut over 1000m on this course. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight could be anything and can remain unbeaten.
INDECENT OBSESSION was an easy winner when shedding her maiden tag over 1000m at the Vaal last time. The daughter of William Longsword is a progressive type and with Gavin Lerena retaining the ride, she should be competitive.
Race 2
STAGGERWING followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1000m on the Inside course last time. She challenged strongly but found one too good in the form of Power Of Pearls. If getting away on terms, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
SOCIAL GRACES ran on strongly when victorious on debut over 1000m on this course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Rafeef could be anything and merits healthy respect.
MINERVA FAE produced a promising debut effort when second over 1000m on this course. The daughter of What A Winter would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.
Race 3
SHABEEN QUEEN showed good improvement when fourth over 1450m on the Inside course last time. She jumped outwards leaving the start and stayed on at the business end. The daughter of Buffalo Bill Cody is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1600m. If getting away on terms, she may be the one to beat.
KORCULA has good consistent form to her credit. She lost a length leaving the start over this distance on the Inside course last time, but finished off her race well. If getting away on terms, she should pose a massive threat.
FLYING WORLD finished 1.4 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.
Race 4

The daughter of Buffalo Bill Cody is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1600m. If getting away on terms, she may be the one to beat.
KORCULA has good consistent form to her credit. She lost a length leaving the start over this distance on the Inside course last time, but finished off her race well. If getting away on terms, she should pose a massive threat.
FLYING WORLD finished 1.4 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.
Race 5
MONEY HEIST was not beaten far in the Listed Premier Gateway International Thukela Handicap. The 6yo gelding always gives of his best and from pole position, he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
TEXAS RED should have finished closer to the winner in the Grade 2 Golden Horse Sprint last time. He finished 1 length behind the top choice in his penultimate outing. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
DEEPONE is having his first run in South Africa. He won a Listed race in his last outing in Ireland on 05 October 2025. He finished third in a Group 3 in his penultimate run. The son of Study Of Man is a four-time winner and the betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
Race 6
DEAR DOC showed good signs of a form return when third over 1400m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. The son of Heavenly Blue takes on older rivals but he looks to have ability and should be up to the task at hand.
BLOOMINGTON has not finished too far off the winner recently. Rachel Venniker is likely to switch him off near the rear of the field from the widest draw and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.
RED SPARROW showed good improvement when third over 1800m on the Inside course last time. He set the pace before getting outrun late. If getting his own way in front, he may be hard to peg back.
Race 7
PLAY WITH FIRE stayed on when fourth over 1800m on the Inside course last time. She finished third in both her efforts over this C&D. Apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia takes the 2.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She drops back in class and from her good draw of three, she can notch up her fourth-career victory.
ART NOUVEAU finished 0.55 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
HAT FURIOUS’ last two starts have been good. He was running on when second over this distance on the Inside course last time. His record on this course is an obvious concern, but he is in a good space and cannot be discounted.
Race 8
ARIOVISTUS ran a good race when fourth over 1800m on this course last time. He was reported to be distressed that day. The son of Vercingetorix takes a drop back in class and from his good draw of two, he can return to winning ways.
BLIZZARD QUEST raced from a handy position over this C&D last time and stayed on to finish third. He is having his peak run and will be cherry-ripe. He has cracked a good draw of three and is one of the leading contenders.
FRERE JACQUES is better than his last start at Hollywoodbets Scottsville as he was reported to be not striding out. He was an easy winner of his penultimate outing over 1450m on the Inside course. If putting his best foot forward, he should be involved at the finish.
Race 9
UBERMENSCH tired late when fourth over this C&D last time. The son of Querari takes a drop back in class. Craig Zackey is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome the awkward draw of seven and he may be hard to peg back.
LONGSWORD stayed on when fifth over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course last time. The son of William Longsword has dropped in the ratings and from pole position, he is a solid back-up for the Sean Tarry stable.
SHOREYBOMBA has been taking on stronger company since his maiden victory. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. He runs well for Callan Murray and may be the horse to spoil the Tarry party.
Race 10
QUIET WINTER stayed on when third over 1000m on the Inside course last time. She has won once and finished third three times from five starts over this C&D. She is drawn towards the outside of the track and can return to winning ways.
ONE TIGER received a bump leaving the start last time, but stayed on to finish fourth. If getting away on terms, he should be the first male past the post.
WHATSDAMATTERWITHU showed good improvement to shed his maiden tag in his first outing as a gelding. The son of Fire Away would have come on from the outing. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand
