Lions:

The Lions sole focus is on the URC and they are making a good fist of their play off bid. They come into Round 15 in fifth place with a record of 8 wins, 1 draw and 5 defeats and with 43 log points they are just 3 shy of a top 4 spot.

Last week the Lions put Edinburgh away 54-17 to land a bonus point and easily justify market confidence which had seen them backed from -10,5 points to -13.5 pre-match.

A run of successive home games delivered wins in derby matches against the Sharks (34-22) and the Stormers (24-10) which helped the Lions secure top spot in the South African Shield. Since then they put Edinburgh away 54-17 and most recently they beat the Dragons 42-26.

After this the Lions host Connacht and in the final 2 rounds of the regular season they travel to Ireland for tough games at Leinster and Munster.

In the outright betting to win the URC title the Lions are 25/1 with Hollywoodbets

Glasgow Warriors:

The Warriors were in Champions Cup action over the last few weeks and after edging out the Bulls 25-21 in Glasgow in the Round of 16 they fell at the quarter final stage, losing 22-19 to Toulon in Glasgow.

In the URC Glasgow Warriors lead the way 4 points clear of the Stormers with a record of 11 wins and 3 defeats. The first of their 2 most recent fixtures in this competition saw them beat Leinster 38-17 in Glasgow and in Round 14 they beat Benetton 31-10 in another home game.

In earlier URC matches against South African sides the Warriors beat the Sharks 35-19 in Round 1 and they also beat the Bulls in Glasgow, 21-12 in Round 4.

In the outright betting to win the URC title this season Glasgow Warriors are 3/1 second favourites with Hollywoodbets behind Leinster who are 12/10.
