Wales:

Steve Tandy has taken over as coach of Wales for their first action of the November series. In July they were in Japan where they lost the first test 24-19 before snapping an 18 match losing streak with a 31-22 victory in the second test.

Wales had a really poor 6 Nations earlier this year, finishing with the wooden spoon after losing all their matches, in France (43-0) and Italy (22-15), at home to Ireland 27-18) and in Scotland (35-29) before being thrashed by England in Cardiff (68-14).

In the November Internationals of 2024 Wales lost to Fiji (24-19), Australia (52-20) and South Africa (45-12).

After this Wales will host Japan, New Zealand and South Africa

Argentina:

Los Pumas were not in action last week. They were last seen in the Rugby Championship in August / September / October where they won 2 and lost 4 of their matches. A double against the All Blacks saw Los Pumas go down 41-24 but they subsequently a first win over New Zealand on their home turf in winning the Round 2 clash 29-23. Two matches against the Wallabies in Australia were both thrillers with the Wallabies edging the first 28-24 before Argentina came out on top in the second 28-26. To finish up Argentina lost 67-30 to the Boks in South Africa before another meeting at Twickenham saw them go down 29-27.

In July Argentina lost 2 test matches at home to England (35-12 and 22-17) before thrashing Uruguay (52-17).

In the 2024 November series Argentina won in Italy (50-18), they were edged out in Ireland (22-19) and then lost in France (37-23).

After this Argentina will take on Scotland and then England
