Football ManCity120The Uefa Champions League Round of 16 gets under way on Tuesday when FC Copenhagen host Manchester City and Real Madrid travel to Germany for the first leg of their match up with RB Leipzig

FC Copenhagen 9.9/1 Draw 52/10 Man City 1 / 4

FC Copenhagen were drawn in a tough group and they came through as distant runners up to Bayern who were unbeaten with 5 wins and 1 draw. The Danes finished with 8 points, Galatasaray were third with 5 and Manchester United missed out completely with 4.

Their record at home comprised of a 2-1 defeat to Bayern followed by home wins over Manchester United (4-3) and a 1-0 victory over Gala on Matchday 6 secured qualification. They also drew 0-0 away in Munich to dent Bayern's 100% record.

City made short work of their group with a 100% record to finish 4 points clear of RB Leipzig with Young Boys third with 4 points and Red Star managed just a single point. City scored 3 goals in every away fixture in the group but only kept the 1 clean sheet.

Last season City pulled off a treble including this trophy, the EPL title and the FA Cup and with the likes of Haaland and De Bruyne recently back from injury they are pretty much at full strength. City are currently second in the EPL, level on points with Arsenal and 2 shy of Liverpool but they do have a game in hand. City are around 19/10 (favourites) with BoyleSports to win the UCL this season.

The Verdict:

These teams met in the group stage last season with City winning 5-0 in Manchester and the return in Copenhagen finished without a goal. City look so strong right now it's hard to make a case for anything but an away win and I'm hoping the visitors will do so with a clean sheet.

Bets: 3 Way & Both Teams to Score , away win and no at even money with BoyleSports

RB Leipzig 21/10 Draw 2.65/1 Real Madrid 12/10

Aside from 2 defeats to Manchester City Leipzig won all 4 of their other group matches to secure a comfortable runners up spot. All of Leipzig's group matches saw backers of Both teams to Score ? (yes) and over 2.5 total goals collect.

Leipzig are currently fifth in the Bundesliga with 11 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats, 18 points shy of league leaders Leverkusen and they have won just 1 of their last 6 league games.

Real Madrid came through their group with a 100% record, they had Napoli, who finished second, for company along with third placed Braga and Union Berlin were the also rans. Real won a 3-2 win at Napoli and 2-1 at Braga and were assured of top spot before a 3-2 win in Berlin.

Real currently top La Liga, 5 points clear of Girona and 10 in front of Barcelona and they have lost just the 1 league game this season. Real are trading at around 11/2 with BoyleSports to win the UCL this season.

The Verdict:

Jude Bellingham has been in top form for Real but he is an injury doubt after scoring twice then picking up a knock in a 4-0 win against Girona at the weekend. That would be of some concern for Real backers but I'm hoping it will increase the chances of Rodrygo (who also scored against Girona) getting on the scoresheet

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Rodrygo at 9/4 with BoyleSports
