Football ManCity120Uefa Champions League Groups A to D are in focus on Tuesday and we take a look at the betting for selected matches including Porto v Manchester City and Liverpool v Ajax

Group A

Bayern Munich are already assured of top spot in this group with the maximum of 12 points. The scramble to join them sees Atletico Madrid on 5 points, Lokomotiv have 3 points and Salzburg 1.

Bayern have got the job done and that is reflected in the betting for Tuesday's trip to Atletico with the Madrid side a shade of odds against to win this game. Atletico were beaten 4-0 in Munich and they have made hard work of subsequent group matches including back to back draws with Lokomotiv and their only win came 3-2 at home to Salzburg. I'd like to see a Bayern team sheet before making a call on this game.

Lokomotiv can do heir chances of qualifying no harm when they host Salzburg but the Austrian's can still be a factor even though their only point came in a 2-2 draw with the Moscow side on Matchday 1 and it's interesting to note they are odds on to win this game.

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals has been the way to go in all of Salzburg's previous group matches but I can see this been a bit tighter and 2-3 goals in total, which arrived in 2 previous Lokomotiv home matches gets my vote.

Bets: Lokomotiv v Salzburg, total match goals, 2-3 at 21/20

Group B

Group B is led by Monchengaldbach with 8 points, 1 clear of Real Madrid. Shakhtar are third with 4 points and Inter Milan have just 2.

Real visit Shakhtar and Monchengaldbach host Inter and given the circumstances of how the group stands I see scope for plenty of goals in both matches. Real to win and both teams to score stood out to me and given over 3.5 goals has arrived in all 4 of Monchengaldbach's matches I will go with that trend to continue.

Bets: Shakhtar v Real, away win and both teams to score? (yes) at 11/8

Monchengaldbach v Inter over 3.5 goals at 6/4

Group C

Manchester City have the full house of 12 points, 3 clear of Porto who are on the verge of joining them in the knockout rounds. Olympiacos have 3 points and Marseille have yet to open their account.

City face a hectic domestic schedule and whilst they will want to secure top spot they might just take their eye off the ball against a Porto side they beat 3-1 in Manchester on Matchday 1.

Porto have scored at least twice in winning every subsequent group match and they could be be worth a speculative play to do likewise here.

Bets: Porto total goals over 1.5 at 41/20

Group D

Injury hit Liverpool fielded a weakened side at home to Atalanta on Matchday 4 and they were beaten 2-0. They still top the group with 9 points, 2 better off than Ajax and Atalanta and Midtjylland have 0 points and will finish bottom of this group. With that in mind you would have to fancy Atalanta to put Midtjylland away in their home game which makes the Liverpool v Ajax match the most interesting.

Liverpool were 1-0 winners when the teams met in Amsterdam and Ajax, who finish up at home to Atalanta, look likely to be very competitive again. I'm looking to the goalscorer markets and Sadio Mane, who was benched at Brighton on Saturday might benefit here. The betting suggests plenty of goals are expected and Mane to score anytime gets my vote.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Sadio Mane at 23/20
