The second leg of the UCL semi final between Bayern Munich and PSG takes place on Wednesday night and after last week’s clash in Paris, PSG are 5-4 in front.
Bayern Munich
The first leg produced 9 goals with PSG edging it 5-4. Harry Kane had Bayern in front from the penalty spot before Kvaratskhelia and João Neves made it 2-1 to PSG. Michael Olise squared things up at 2-2 and a penalty from Ousmane Dembele saw PSG regain the lead, 3-2 at half time. A second goal Kvaratskhelia and another from Dembele in the second half made it 5-2 to PSG but Bayern hit back with further goals from Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz, 5-4 on the night and wow, what a game it was.
Bayern had sealed their semi final place with a 6-4 aggregate win over Real Madrid. They were in a strong position after a 2-1 win in the first leg in Madrid and the return in Munich saw Real lead 3-2 at half time, Bayern equalized on 89 minutes following the first of 2 very late red cards for Real and then made made it 4-3 on the night.
Bayern breezed into the last 8 after dismantling Atalanta, winning the first leg in Italy 6-1 and the return in Munich 4-1. They also made short work of automatic qualification for the knockout rounds, winning 7 and losing just the 1 (to Arsenal who topped the log) to finish clear in second spot. Aside from the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, Bayern scored at least 2 goals in every match including that 2-1 win away to PSG.
Bayern are 16 points clear of Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga standings and are already assured of the title. They have lost just 1 league game all season, rattling up 116 goals and they have also reached the final of the German Cup.
PSG
PSG won both legs of their quarter final match up with Liverpool by a 2-0 scoreline. Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were on target in the first leg in Paris and a brace from Ousmane Dembele wrapped things up in the return at Anfield.
PSG put Chelsea away in the first knockout round, winning 5-2 in Paris and 3-0 at Stamford Bridge. They started the League Phase well including a victory away to Barcelona but they won just 1 of their last 5 and missed out on auto qualification with 14 points. One of their League Phase defeats came at home to Bayern, 2-1. PSG were subsequently matched with Monaco in the play offs and after a 3-2 win away from home, a 2-2 draw in Paris saw them edge their way through.
PSG are currently 6 points clear of Lens at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with 3 rounds of matches to go although they do still have to visit their title rivals.

The Verdict:
Where to go with this one after last week’s electric first leg? Not the match result market for me I’d rather look elsewhere. A corner count of 11 or more is one port of call and both teams to score in both halves is the other.
Bet: Total corners over 10.5 at 9/10 with Sportingbet
Both teams to score in both halves? Yes at 4/1 with Sportingbet
