So van der Poel gets caught in the run-in and Philipsen has to go solo. Not getting any returns here. Throw in the last two rounds of the tennis and July is starting to look like Christmas for the books.

Going with my theory that UAE will not allow a break if there is any chance Pogs could win the stage which makes it a GC finish.
No interest on the 4/10 though. My pick for top 3

My outrights toast with the WD of Uijtdebroeks. Brent's green jersey looking solid.  Wondered before the start whether Evenepoel could hang on in the high mountains. The Tourmalet is a high mountain and he managed. He takes a minute plus off his podium rivals on the stage 16 ITT so I'm pondering over that 11/2 podium offer.

I never got involved yesterday but watched with interest as UAE kept the break close - I could not figure it out 

The reason emerged that they are targeting the team comp now and that is bad news for my Lidl Trek 12/1 punt despite the fact they are 27 minutes ahead 

UAE now 7/10 Lidl 12/10 

If UAE want it I don't see them being stopped 

Happy for MVDP that he got the win

Like a dog with a bone. If it's flat it's Philipsen. On the plus side - He's odds get longer after every loss. Kinda feels better if you lose a 9/1 as opposed to a 5/2
