PRAISE DE LA REY found one too good in the form of Chasing Gold over this C&D last time. She is likely to race on the pace from pole position and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

TAKEYOURBESTSHOT produced consistent form lines before given a 15-week break. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus. If not in need of the run, he can shed his maiden tag in this field.

HAPPY FORTUNE was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this distance on the turf. She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. The daughter of Pathfork is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

ZIBULO kept finding to win her last start over this C&D. She received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber has cracked pole position and she can follow up with another victory.
GOLDEN ANGEL took on stronger in her last start over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She drops back in class and on her previous form, she would not be a shock winner.

GOOD TRAVELLER was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1200m on this course. He received a five-pound penalty for that victory. The 7yo gelding won his only attempt over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo retains the ride from pole position and he can follow up with another victory.
UNITED NATION is a winner of his last four starts and is unbeaten for Trainer Darryl Moore. The son of One World takes a rise in class, but he is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
UMZINGELI WENYATHI won a game race over 1200m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position and fought hard all the way to the line. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane retains the ride, and the combination cannot be discounted.
Race 8
LUNCH MONEY finished 2 lengths behind INDECENT PROPOSAL last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights this evening and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 2.5kgs off his back and with luck in running, he can notch up his third-career victory.
